Excellent fit and packaged
Exactly as described and was easy to replace. Do note the below tips/info:1. Remove the plastic nuts at bottom of dishwasher carefully. I used a ratchet and it was easy.2. If existing element is brunt, it can break during the removal process. If it does, you would need another person to hold the broken piece inside the dishwasher with pliers.3. Hand tighten the plastic nuts to the max before using any tools.4. Check if the thermostat is faulty. It's about $10 and easy to replace.5. The dishwasher needs a control board reset after any changes to parts. Takes 5min and must be done.

This is a good replacement.
The product is fine, installation is a little more difficult than described by their instructions. After I installed it I found out That that was not the problem. The reason the dishwasher control board was not working properly was because of dust and dirt on the interface cable which was blocking the electronic signal. On the forums for troubleshooting, many options were named such as a bad control board, (replaced) bad heating element (replaced) and a bunch of other stuff (not replaced). The real fix did not involve replacing any parts, just wiping off the interface cables with a rag, If your control panel is not functioning properly, try cleaning your interface cables first. It takes 15 minutes or less to take it apart, clean it and put it back together. If you do need a heating element, This is a good fit.

Only works on Energy Star appliance
I have a perfectly good KitchenAid dishwasher, save the fact that the heating element went out. Sure, I can do that... bought the one that fits my machine! It lasted for about 24 hours and blew out again. After a meeting with a specialist, it ends up that this element is recommended for my machine, in fact its the only one, but my machine will continue to blow it up because "fit" isnt the only constraint...

This WOULD have fit my Kenmore (Whirlpool) dishwasher, had I been sent the correct item by the seller I bought it from (with initials S R T).Ended up buying it at a b&m store before the DW kicked me out of the house. It is rated for 850W, and is the same element that is packaged with the "control board and element" kit that you probably also found in your search. If you have the updated control board, and you know the element is the problem (has gone open circuit or is damaged), this is probably the one you'll need.Note that on my dishwasher (stainless steel tub), it had a "round" element in it. This is the correct replacement, and fits the same, even though it is a different shape. Both the original and this one are 850W.

Solved the seemingly unsolveable problem
A flashing "sani-rinse" light on the user interface board was the only indicator of non-functionality of my Superba Kitchenaid dishwasher. Replaced many electric/electronic parts before, as a last resort, I replaced the heating coil. Whala! The light went solid for a time, and then the system check cleared all lights. This system then was ready for work. Halleluiah!

Perfect diy installation and even better that it saved us $700 over having to buy a brand new dishwasher! Worth it!

Saved money buying the part on Amazon and installing it myself
Fixed the problem in my Maytag MDB7759AWS dishwasher. Installed easily and no additional parts needed. Did need to uninstall the dishwasher and remove from underneath the countertop, as you need to access the back to remove the nut holding the heating element in place. Lots of videos on YouTube showing you how to install it.
