Flexrake is the only rake I purchase & use.
Best rake I have used and purchased. The rake is very sturdy, lightweight and easy to use. Does an excellent job gathering up leaves with out tearing up my lawn. The local hardware stores do not stock flexrake anymore. Lucky was able to purchase on Amazon.

A great leaf rake
We've had a Flexrake for years, but it finally wore out. We looked high and low for this particular brand and model (this one is not as wide, but a little stiffer than the competition - like True Temper - and really works great for raking up leaves and debris), but none of the local hardware stores - Home Depot, Lowes, True Value - carried the Flexrake brand. We found the brand on Amazon and we're glad to have a new one for our yard care. The only downside is the rake is at least $10 more than similar rakes available. Oh well!

Gets the job done.
Excellent rake. Just wish it were 2 or 3 inches wider.

Smooth operation
I finally retired my FlexRake 1.0 after 25years. A few years ago it began losing plastic tines one by one and it limped along for a bit. After losing a dozen times I figured it had served it's purpose long enough so I bought this new one. I call this FlexRake 2.0 because the tines are metal... great improvement and I'm guessing I'll have this the rest of my life. The tines move incredibly smoothly across my grass lawn... all of the loose blades of grass move along easily, almost like a broom on concrete. I'm always happy when a tool works, and this one definitely does.

The best grass rake I've ever owned
It's light but strong and sturdy. The tines are shaped perfectly. And the wood handle means that, should it ever break (very unlikely) you can replace it without having to buy a whole new rake. i have loved it from the first time I used ir.

Best Rake
Love the Flex Rake. I do landscaping for a living and rake for hours and this rake makes it possible! I have owned this same rake with a metal handle and the screw would work it's way out of the metal handle. So.. I bought this wood handle version and I just love it!

ok if you want a small rake
Too small for my liking; it's decent quality and design and should last but compared to the yard & leaf rake it's replacing its smaller size got me to buy another like my former; the handle end to the top of the rake head is 57.5" while my normal rake is 71" and the head is 17.5 across and 18" on it's curved circumference width while my norm is 23" flat across; and the rake's squarish-head is 8.5" high; compared to my norm's fan-shaped head that is 16"; the ferrule/collar joining head and handle are the same 3+ inches; for me all this means that not collecting as much leaves or grass is bum. The Flexrate has 25 tines/prongs that are 5/16" wide while my norm has 22 tines that are 3/16" wide; meaning the gap between tines is relatively tight. It compact size head and tight wide tines rakes firm to the ground but no better than my norm that has a spring brace head and cost the same. I was swayed by the positive reviews, the availability of a replacement head and prime shipping. That said, perhaps knowing that the dimension listed are not actual, all are slightly smaller, meaning it's sized above a small bush rake and below most standard size rake, its might fit perfect in your tool shed.

I was able to attach a telescoping handle to this rake head.....
I was looking for a rake with a telescoping handle, and wasn't able to find one anywhere, so I bought this rake because the wooden handle is removable (in case it ever needs to be replaced?)..... I bought a separate high quality aluminum telescoping handle and attached it to the rake head.... Works perfectly (I do a lot of raking on steep hillsides, so having a longer handle is very helpful for hard to reach areas)!! Very happy!!
