Dynamic but not versatile
This Stormtrooper is a bit of a mishmash of existing designs: the head is largely the same as from the Rogue One Stormtrooper; the rest of the figure is the same as the Solo Mimban Stormtrooper (but with modified legs for better posture). He can hold his rifle realistically with both hands, but that's about all he can do. His arms just aren't posed to do much else. At least his hands have swivel joints, which is a nice feature. And he sure does look good when he's got his rifle aimed properly! Beyond that, it's just a beautiful figure overall that's only really limited (but not ruined) by its dynamic pose and restricted articulation.(Note: a nearly identical version of this Stormtrooper is included with the Target-exclusive Solo 6-pack figure set; that version is a Squad Leader with a pauldron. Also included is a Mimban Stormtrooper. Both the Mimban Stormtrooper and Squad Leader have the same "fixed" legs and improved balance as this version of the figure. This is as opposed to the original single-carded version of the Mimban Stormtrooper, who has weird balance due to his leg design.)The included comic isn't much to speak of. It is a fairly accurate depiction of an early portion of A New Hope (the first movie), but it's only a few pages long, and doesn't cover much of the movie. The print is so small as to be hard to read. The art is OK (although very modern compared to the source material it's retelling), but again, the tiny panels make it hard to appreciate.I personally think that the cylindrical packaging is very cool--although again, the illustrations on the package are rather stylized and don't match up too well with the actual figures themselves (but do come close to the art style used in the mini comics).Overall, I say this figure is well worth buying, provided you don't mind "basic" articulated figures in your collection--especially if you like having variants you can use for different scenes or play styles. This Stormtrooper's aiming-oriented pose makes him stand out from other basic-articulated figures which usually have much more neutral and less dynamic poses. Just note that the mini-comic drives the MSRP up slightly over what a "normal" figure of this type would usually cost--but you may find the figure available below MSRP, like I did.

Disappointment
I was very disappointed after receiving this stormtrooper that he did not articulate at the elbows, so he is always stuck in the bent elbow pose. I also noticed that the gun did not sit in one hand it falls out so you have to put the other hand under the gun to help keep it in his hand. If you are looking for an action figure that is posable this would not be the one to buy.

Good figure, shipped in a bag to arrive in a state of crushed packaging.
Love the figure and mini comic. However, if you want anything new, you play roulette with Amazon shipping.
