I wear these in all my shoes. I am a woman with a wide foot, and since they dont' make these to accomodate, I use the men's. The reduction in knee problems is about 98%. I have quite a collection of inserts from the last few years. Many were simply too much, causing more discomfort. If you have given up on arch supports because of pain, try this product. These are perfect.

The item is constructed of moderately dense Styrofoam, but but it's "one – size – fits – all" construction means that it will slide back and forth inside the shoe. If you work your foot into the shoe in the usual way it tends to slide forward. In order to reduce that likelihood the manufacturer has included two "glue dots" of sticky plastic but if you wear your shoes anywhere but on clean surfaces sand and dirt will get in and clog up the glue dots, rendering them useless. I have bought a roll of glue dots and have already in the past month used half a dozen of them to keep the inserts from sliding. The built-up heel cup will probably help to prevent plantar fasciitis and the built-up arch helps my flat feet, but there needs to be a better means of fixing the insert within the shoe.

These arch supports were good at two things: quality arch support and being cheap. I like that I can switch them between different pairs of shoes quickly and easily.The only complaint I have with these is that they didn't work well for me in gym shoes. Gym shoes that are meant to be snug already (cross trainers, running shoes, etc) make it difficult to get your foot into the shoe without causing the arch support to wrinkle, which is very annoying. If you want to use arch supports in gym shoes, I would suggest arch supports that span the entire shoe, not just the back half as these do. These were more suited to dress shoes and other items that are naturally looser, allowing you to slip your foot in without causing the arch support to move around underfoot.

they are too long. when putting your shoe on you have to hold the heel in place since they are too long , the ball of your foot pulls them forwarn. Other than that they are great. You use to have a shorter one , that is the one I really like.

Tho I'm a woman, I got the man's size as so many women's inserts are just too marrow. The relief from burning pain was almost immediate. I had avoided walking which I love because of the such discomfort. These inserts seem to be just soft, until after a while they really adapt to the shape of your foot. I immediately ordered 4 more pair. I have tried many arch supports over 20 years and these are by far the best for me. I only wish they would make an entire shoe out of this stuff.
