DuraTrel Queensbrook Pergola

I personally think this pergola is a great addition to my deck especially at the price of less than $800. I did do my research and even though this was attached to my deck, I still purchased pressure treated 4 x 4 to put into each leg to add stability and strength. I also did pre-drill some of the screw holes to facilitate a tidy assembly. Beyond that setup was pretty easy even working by myself but at two or three junctions a second set of hands would have been helpful. It’s the details that can really make a difference for a project and I added post accents at the top and bottom as well as adding NextStone faux stone columns which I converted to planters with wisteria vines as pictured. It has now been 3 years since this was installed and it has survived a winter climate and minor hail events quite well so buy with confidence.

Works and looks good

This pergola is vinyl and very lightweight and easy to assemble. We cemented into flower pots to weight it down and also make it possible to move if necessary. We added SUNTHIN 48ft White Outdoor String Light Kit with 0.9W Dimmable LED Bulbs for Outdoor Weddings Lights, Commercial Patio String Lights, Backyard Lights and Party Light to add ambience and together with the Walsunny 7pcs Patio Outdoor Furniture Sets,Low Back All-Weather Rattan Sectional Sofa with Tea Table&Washable Couch Cushions (Black Rattan)(Blue) all from Amazon, we transformed an empty deck to a very peaceful escape.

We did have some bent piece but we made it work!

Pros: Looks beautiful, all pieces were included. It was difficult to put together, took two very handy men and me to assist. Lots of leveling, measuring, etc.Cons: needs more screws to attach legs to the posts set in the ground. The stabilizing posts were not suitable to use, we went with 4x4's so it would be sturdy enough.

It looks pretty. Not very stable though!Heavy on top and the legs cannot support the weight! Also, some pieces did not fit well!

I am a 55 year old woman who put this together by myself. It’s awesome. I did assemble the first of the square upside down and then flip it over. Then I added all the other parts. Holes are predrilled, you just need to carefully match them up. I also put wood post into the legs for stability. Concreted the legs into flower pots with 40 lbs in each pot. Looks like I have a room addition. So happy I bought it.

VERY sturdy and looks amazing over my hot tub! We originally set it up on a tiled patio and then moved it over to the hot tub several days later, so there was no anchoring during that time. We had several high wind storms come through those days (up to 60 mph wind gusts) and the pergola withstood it all beautifully. Of course, it is anchored down now in it's permanent positioning, but we were very pleased with how well it is made.
