This one was perfect as the main base per liter of water: Rickshaw - 4 TBSP Lipton black - 2 TBSP Puerh - 1 TBSP It was perfect and just like my fav place in Hong Kong <3 ----- The full recipe I lifted from a user Reddit ----- eon380 commented 1 yr. ago I've tried at home and the method I learned from a YouTube clip of a chachaanteng sifu is: 4 tablespoons black tea (rickshaw brand if possible) 2 tablespoons Lipton black tea 1 tablespoons puerh tea 1.Boil (covered) for 8mins in 1L water 2.Strain the tea; this is when you use a silk stocking or some other fine sieve. Strain a few times (8 is what the video says, but I'm unsure if it makes much difference). 3.Throw away the leaves and keep the tea. 4.Boil (uncovered) for 8 minutes. You should be left with really smooth concentrated tea! 5.Now you can stir evaporated milk into the tea, until it reaches the right color (up to your preference). It turns a beautiful caramel color and it's so satisfying to see. I've had good results with this method and it's fun to do it too, and you can tweak the amounts of each tea, the duration of boiling etc to your liking! I've found that it only keeps in the fridge for a few days though, after 2-3 nights in the fridge the texture changes. If you end up trying it this way, tell me how it turns out!
