The civil rights era ended the night of MLKing's death and the next day when Jesse Jackson displayed the bloody shirt. Since then, it turned into a shake down of white society using white guilt and black anger to extract money and power.Jess Peterson calls these guys ( like Jackson and Sharpton - the Alchemists). Of the 600 cities that got ML King Blvds; all of them deteriorated. And from the 1st black mayor in Gary, IN the cities they were Mayors of got worse and the condition of the blacks got worse. Those who knew all this already knew the awful consequences of an Obama presidency. Jesse is honest and forthright with the kind of courage we need for these times. He addresses forthrightly the problem in the black community and he doesn't pull any punches. The problem is simple enough. Boys are growing up without fathers in a toxic world of quarreling women with passive grandmothers.For a half century or more, black people have labored under the spell of what Jesse Lee Peterson calls the “alchemists.” These are the race hustlers, media hacks, politicians, community organizers and the like who promise to “fundamentally transform” America. The transformation they promise, however, produces only fool’s gold—unearned benefits like welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing, payouts from lawsuits, and maybe one day even reparations. Worse, to secure these counterfeit goods, recipients have to sacrifice something of infinite value: the sanctity of the two-parent family. It is a devil’s bargain.To make this experiment work, the alchemists have created an ungodly and unhealthy environment, one in which the white population is made to feel guilty and the black population made to feel angry. The pattern in this is simple: children—black or white—when deprived of fathers, grow up angry at their parents. White children displace their anger in a thousand different directions. Black children channel theirs, for the most part, in a single destructive direction—towards and against white people. The alchemists encourage them to do this, enable them, and even reward them. This anger fuels the system and pays the alchemists’ bills.As bleak as this all sounds, an antidote exists and can best be summarized in two key concepts, forgiveness and truth. Forgiveness and truth saved Peterson’s life, that of his son, and those of countless young men who have been counseled at Peterson’s organization, BOND.The perverse genius of liberalism has been its ability to capture black anger and project it outwards towards anyone, black or white, who resists the Democratic agenda. By encouraging a resentful dependency, liberals have instituted a new kind of slavery in the black community as emotionally shackling as the physical slavery that first brought Africans to America.Peterson knows this story from the inside as few other people do. Born on an Alabama plantation, he was abandoned by his father before he was born. After high school, Peterson moved to Los Angeles and for the next twenty years moved purposelessly through life, channeling his internal anger outwards towards white people and America in general.Providentially, Peterson discovered the “antidote” to that which ailed him and which still troubles black America—forgiveness. Only after he forgave his parents was he able to see the world as it really existed and discern its basic truths. In the mission he has undertaken since, and in this hopeful book, Peterson shares what he learned on his personal road to Damascus.

I have searched long and hard for someone to help me better understand the problem of race in America. Though I taught RACE Relations at Company and Battalion levels. I have not understood why fully why it has continued after we made encredible progress. Why has it become such an issue of hate and violence now. Why? Who is behind it. What has inflamed the fires again. Where did it go wrong. When I received Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson's book "THE ANTIDOTE" I was shocked. He began to answer all my questions. He brought perspective and gave answers to "all" my questions. I am beside myself. It brought me to my knees in tears. The answers are not what the Biased Media, nor Civil Rights leaders, nor Money hungry , power hungry Politicians, nor all the Black groups, organizations, or Muslim groups, nor the Black or White communities are saying. It is more sinister and evil than anyone in America knows. REV. Peterson has opened my heart and mind to fully understand what evil lurks in the heart and minds of leaders who are seeking to cause hate, discord and killings of innocents lives for their own selfish gain. It is cruel, evil and wicked. So called Leaders using their own people to gain power and wealth on the backs and lives of their own people. If it means death to our own people, they do not care. It is heart breaking. We are on the verge of another Civil War in America. There is a way to destroy this Racial Divide. A way to stop this Evil Murder and killing. A way to once again LOVE and Forgive. A way to be once again "AMERICANS" NO more Black Americans or White Americans, or Korean Americans, or Chinese Americans. But to simply be AMERICANS! To love and respect each other. To work together to make life better. To make The American Dream once again avaliable to ALL Americans. I am so beside myself at the truth I have acquired through this book "THE ANTIDOTE" Every American needs to read this book. I beg you all to get it and read it now. It will change your life. It will change America for the better for ever. I have ordered 5 more copies to give to my Pastors and friends as well as family. Every Leader, Law Enforcement Officer, and Citizens needs to read this book. Please, I beg you from the bottom of my heart. Get this book and read it. Here is the TRUTH. Unlike the lies you are being told today. What a huge bunch of lies we have been fed. It will break your heart. This hatred, Murder, and disrespect for our laws and Law Enforcement. For lives of our precious people of America are all being perpetrated by those seeking personal wealth, fame and riches. There are others in Leadership of this Nation who seek to Destroy it. They care not how. They do not care how many lives are lost nor what RACE of people die. Not even their own. We must wake up. Please get this book and read it. You want be able to put it down. Yes there will be those who say do not read it. They are the ones who want this Racial Hatred and Murder to continue. Without it they will have no cause, gain no power, gain great wealth. They are the problem. Read this book PLEASE. I BEG YOU AND I LOVE EVERYONE OF YOU. I LOVE MY COUNTRY. GAVE 22.5 YEARS OF MY LIFE IN HER DEFENCE, FOR ALL AMERICANS!!!!!!!

What a fabulous book, it's worth every penny. I'm half way through and I got more than what I paid for already. You're home, there is peace....he's speaking about love, through love, God's love. There is a calm in understanding God's order and how the world has been messing with a wonderful plan. Thank you. Also been watching his church videos, forgiveness is a wonderful thing.Just finished the book, many insights into the "characters" that are hustling the man in America.....you'll love the book. I have.Just finished the book. By far one of the best books I've ever read. Well presented, factual, spiritual, healing. If you choose not to read he book because you don't like his show, you will be missing one of the best, most insightful books of our times. Vermont is experiencing the same issues as POC, our families are being decimated by that same disastrous big city social programs that have ruined our cities. It goes to show and Jesse knows this, it's not about color, it's about families, seeking the father on earth, through which our fathers, God's love can work it's healing and forgiving powers.....it's a spiritual vacuum, no doubt.

This is an amazing book from someone who has helped guide me and change my mind and in turn have a change of heart. He doesn't know this but he has.

This book should be a New York Times Best Seller! If you want the truth about the Black Civil rights movement run by Democrats--->This is it.This book is painfully honest and only for those who want the truth. Transformation has to start from the inside. Reverend Jesse has done his homework and is sharing truth and wisdom. I couldn't put the book down so didn't accomplish much for 2 days. BUT it was the best read I have come across in a long time and I like to read a lot.All versions of Identity politics are a trap and Reverend Jesse has blown the lid off this one. Instead of just leaving the reader with critical information he provides the solution to the root of the problem. God will Bless The Antidote.

A Good Read

For someone who hasn’t read over 7 books in my lifetime..I could hardly put this book down once I picked up. So much information followed up with notes in the last pages for reference. Very good read.

This book is Amazin!! Exactly what I needed to get right with God and say goodbye to anger!
