Fit just like the original
My wife has numerous Corningware items where the tops have cracked from dishwashers and storing in both refrigerators and freezers. I bought these to replace the cracked tops and they work perfect.

Great replacement lids
I bought these to replace lids for dishware we have had for years. The dishware is still in great condition but the lids had started to crack so I was looking to replace them. I found these on Amazon and they are great! When you first put them on the dish they are kind of tight and a little hard to get on but after that the fit great and do not leak. So glad I found them!

Oval Replacement Lids - SOAK THEM IN HOT WATER!
I was happy to get these lids but after trying to put each of them on my oval bowl, neither of them fit! They were too tight and I couldn't even force them on. I was very disappointed and was ready to send them back when I remembered heat expands. Would the covers expand enough to slide on the bowl. So I soaked one of the lids in hot (tap) water for about 2 to 3 minutes. Viola! The lid had a nice snug fit. So I soaked the other lid and it fits too, now. I also left the first lid on the bowl over night, took it off the next morning then put it back on to make sure it didn't shrink and it still fits. I had to soak the other lid again but it fits with a little effort. So my advice is to soak the lids in hot tap water and hopefully they will fit like mine did.

Corning ware lids
The lids fit perfect on the glassware that we bought at goodwill. We love these containers, now with lids, for leftovers to reheat in the microwave. Nice sturdy quality lid too!
