THIS genuine pure OLIVE WOOD CROSS OF CHRIST IS 5 INCHES TALL AND 3" or 3 1/16" wide AND wood thickness is 1/2" WELL POLISHED WELL SMOOTH. ITS LIKE 40 DAYS TO GET FROM ISRAEL TO UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I RECOMMEND TO EVERYBODY, BE PATIENT, IT WILL ARRIVED TO YOUR DESTINY- MAKE SURE YOUR HOME ADDRESS IS CORRECT. PACKAGED IS SEALED INSIDE THE THICK BROWN BOX LIKE A GIFT TO SOMEONE. I ADDED A PIECE OF FLAT WOOD MYSELF AND NAIL SCREW AND GLUED THE FLAT WOOD TO SECURE THE CROSS. I DID SOME HANDIWORK SO I CAN PUT THE CROSS OF CHRIST ON MY STUDY TABLE. BY THE WAY THE FLAT WOOD IS EXCLUDED MEANING IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORDER. The image of Christ is really clear for the size of the cross. Often, the facial features are not defined, but the face of Christ is lovely on these crucifix's. The wood is beautiful and very solid. The soil from the Holy Land really adds somethings special to my heart. Thank you.

It's small, but I didn't expect anything else with the low price. It's sturdy and the wood is smooth and has a finish on it. It also came with a nice little necklace as a gift from the company :)

The plaque above Our Lord reads “INBI” for the Greek Ἰησοῦς ὁ Ναζωραῖος ὁ Bασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίωνinstead of “INRI” we usually see which are the initials for the Latin inscription IESVS NAZARENVS REX IVDÆORVM (Iēsus Nazarēnus, Rēx Iūdaeōrum). Both translate to "Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews" (John 19:19) in English. John 19:20 states that this phrase was ordered by Pontius Pilot to be written in three languages–Hebrew, Latin and Greek–and mounted on the cross of Christ. However the stone is cheaply glued to the cross. I was expecting at least a plastic enclosure. The wood and corpus are beautiful. However because of the cheaply glued stone it would be less than favorable to gift. I will have to decide if I will keep it or return it.

Not only does the sign above Jesus say INBI…It is crooked and Jesus is adhere to the cross with large globs of hot glue….This was very disappointing and almost offensive. It was supposed to be a beautiful Christmas gift….It also did not come with the hand crafted card showed in the pictures.Not acceptable….
