I was surprised how quickly it was delivered compared to the estimated arrival date. The package arrived in great condition, there were no damages on the Bible. It also came in with a box so I guess that gave added protection.To be honest, this is the first Bible I bought for myself and I wanted to buy a leather-bound one so that it would be more durable. I had been using an NIV 1984 for the longest time and it has seen a lot of wear and tear. I decided to buy a new Bible because my old one got wet and the top-right portion of Judges and Ruth got ripped off.The one I bought here is an ESV Thinline Bible (Black) and it’s actually larger than the one I had been using. It’s about 9 inches long compared to my NIV which is about 6 inches long. But the text is larger so it’s relatively more readable.Also, I think my NIV is either bonded leather or some other type of faux leather, so it’s my first time using a genuine leather Bible and I can truly tell the difference. I know the words it contains are more important but I still appreciate these other aspects.All in all, I’m quite happy with the purchase. I’m currently doing a cover-to-cover read of the Bible so this arrived just in time for me to break it in. Glory to God!

Nice Bible

My soon to be 10 year old has been asking for his own Bible. I wanted to get him something he won't be embarrassed to pull out 10 years from now, something durable but with features I enjoy like the floppy cover and red text for with Jesus speaks. I got it on sale and am very happy with the quality. It smells nice, weird thing to say but it does. I didn't know it had the gold edged pages and I think that's something he will appreciate as well. I pray he gets a lot of use from it, as someone who didn't find God until 2021 it's crazy to see how much he's moved in my life in just a few years. My children will know God before I did, and I pray that it becomes a solid foundation for them.

Excellent quality as you would expect from all those raving reviews. I'm new to Christianity and bibles so I cant say much more.

I have only owned before now bibles in bonded leather (primarily because of cost) but after making the jump to genuine leather, i can safely say that i can't go back.1. The grain on this bible is so aesthetically pleasing that i just want to look at and touch this bible all the time.2. The feel of the bible in your hand... on my good Lord. I did not know a bible could feel so good in hand. I never want to put down this bible. It is comfortable to hold, feels good in the hand and is evenly weighted so there is no fatigue even after holding it for an hour.3. Even though it is a paste-down liner, it is well crafted and with the smyth-sewn binding promises to be durable for many years to come.4. The 8pt font, double column format is readable and easy on the eyes.5. The size is perfect making it a bible you can take everywhere with you.If you're on the market for an ESV and you want a readable but thin bible that will be long-lasting, this is definitely the bible for you.

I've been using this Bible recently and love the size, Jesus's words in red. Also bought the highlighters made for the bible pages that don't stain through. Love it.
