SWISSINNO 1021117 Supercat Rat Trap - Grey

This arrived in a box for a tape dispenser so I didn't realise what it was for a couple of days. When I did open it intending to report that I had been set the item in error did I realise my order for a trap had arrived. But once out of the box I couldn't for the life of me work out how to set the trap. The instructions on the box didn't help me and nor could the man I live with so it can't just be me! So unable to tell you whether it is any good for catching rats.

Seems like a really great trap that grabs the victim from all angles and is easy to maintain. Unfortunately I must be doing something wrong or the rats read the box. Me 0 rats 1. I'm not doing any better with 4 other types I bought. I'm sure that if you can find the right place to put it with the right bait this will do a superior job. It can be a little sensitive and go off if you put it down roughly so be careful.

This is a very fierce trap so look out for your fingers. Unfortunately, so far it has only caught 2 field mice (not appreciated) and the bait has been taken twice with no catch. I can say that I haven't seen any rats since so maybe the thought of this trap has frightened them away !

Not my first purchase of these, so knew what I was getting. Very effective, caught all the rats in a few days

Snaps shut with a BANG whenever I try to move it ... sadly it has not caught anything yet so may try some different bait.
