I loved all the research that was included, and the live links to each one (Kindle version). I found these most encouraging and insightful, with intentions of sharing the information and healing plant medicines with those I know who struggle with PTSD; are enduring the crushing journey of breast cancer; have lost hope and heart; and for the dratted issues of menopause, PMS, and other female issues (and the men in their lives who struggle with their respective stuff too, that I learned Rose can help with too!).I'm dying to try many, if not all, of the recipes and delicious recommendations in the book's formulas section/s.On a personal note, this book was recommended for me to read by another. I found much healing, peace, insight, and joy in my journey through reading this book. I thank that person ten times over...you know who you are... Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Well referenced studies showing that true Rose Oil is "more than just a pretty smell"...that it has powerful emotional, spiritual and, yes, physical effects. Ms. Ashley also includes a wealth of blends, formulas and suggested uses for the different forms of this historical blossom that are available, from using dried petals, precious cold pressed Rose Hip Seed oil for anti aginng skin care routines, to the glories of true rose otto and rose absolute. She even explores the differences between roses grown in different parts of the world. A must have for the natural perfumer, the aromatherapist, or the rose lover!

I got the free kindle download when it was first offered, but I just had to have this beautifully illustrated coffee table book. The pictures are beautiful!!! Did I mention how well written and totally memorizing this book is? All the facts about ROSE were extremely interesting. I could smell the scent of rosé by the time I finished the book ..breathtakingly delightful!!!!

I love all of her essential oil books and am learning a lot.

I have been in agony with trigeminal neuralgia for a few months. In desperation I contacted Liz as my concentration was so poor that deciding what essential oils would help would have taken forever. She very kindly asked what oils I had and luckily rose was one of them. She suggested the following recipe; - rose x 2, lavender x 3, clary sage x 3, vetiver x 1, chamomile x 3 in 100ml of oil. Initially I used it every couple of hours and didn't immediately notice any difference. However, I am aware that essential oils work a bit like herbal medicine in that they need to build up. The following morning I applied it and felt the pain subside quite quickly Twice later than day I had left it a bit late in regularly applying and was almost on my knees with the pain in my ear, temple and along my jaw. To my surprise and wonderment (and my husbands) it worked instantly. I'm not kidding when I say the pain left me. I contacted Liz to update her and thank her and she confirmed that rose in the mix did the job. What a God send. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This beautiful book is enchanting, very easy to read and very enjoyable. Elizabeth has a wicked sense of humour that appeals to my soul. I love the diversity of the contents of the Rose Goddess Medicine and how each chapter leaves you wanting more. Her study of the Rose is extensive and meticulous and presented with clarity, beauty and much love. As a fellow holistic therapist and light worker I thoroughly recommend this book.
