top quality steel.
Best quality you can get. If you work with screws as small as these fit you need tools that do not round out and fit precisely the hex. I have cheaper versions of this and they do not fit as well as these do.So spend the extra and enjoy these for years .I bought mine so I would have them handy for small RC cars and the like.

Probably the best precision hex drivers you can buy right now
This is my second set of these. I do much of my work with smaller hex head screws so I can either use a hex-bit and a power tool which usually ends up with a stripped screw, head or a complete break, or I can hand tighten for more precision. These appear to be perfectly machined, and there is almost no flex in the metal. They are very tightly machined, and don't seem to dull out (my first set is still working perfectly after using them on thousands of screws). I bought the second set just to have another set handy at my other work bench.I suppose the price could be cheaper... but factor that higher cost with almost no replacement cost due to failure.

Very nice set for working on models
These are very nice quality tools for working with the tiny fasteners in small model engines. After using them I was so impressed that I have since purchased this set in inch sizes, as will as the Wiha canvas tool pouches (ASIN: B000T9UK8Y) to store them in. I also purchased the micro nut driver sets in both metric and inch with pouches. Highly recommended!

Nice tools for precision work.
Nice precision Allen set. The handles are well shaped, and rotate freely like jewelers screwdrivers. My only wish is that it came as a bundle with some metric sizes.(And some sort of case. Why do manufacturers of small tools almost never include storage?)

Similar to Wera without the price tag
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I think Wiha is the best brand for the normal person that wants slightly higher quality, small hand tools than something like Craftsman or Kobalt, etc. They're not quite Wera levels of nice, but they're also not Wera expensive either. I think Wiha leverages fabrication sites around the world, so the manufacturing costs are less, but they're still very nice. I can't conspicuously flaunt them like I do my Wera stuff, but they work great. Also, the Wiha customer service/warranty is really good. I had a small ratchet from them that malfunctioned, and I emailed them about it. They said, "do you have a photo of the item and the receipt (e-receipt is what I had, so I screenshot it)?" I did, sent it to them, and they sent me a brand new ratchet. No other questions asked.

Notably Better Than Most, But Not Quite Perfect
Not a bad set. Sturdy and well made. Certainly better made and longer lasting (in my opinion and experience) than anything I might order from, say, China (note: some things made in in China CAN be of exceptional quality. Tools are usually not one of them).I was a bit disappointed, however, when the 1.5mm started to round off a bit after only moderate use. I had to repair an older RF spectrum analyzer, circa 1990s. The front-panel, hard plastic control knobs of the analyzer slip over steel control rods (protruding about an inch or so from the front face of the analyzer), and are fastened/tightened into place and onto the rods via steel set screw/hex screws within the knobs. After attaching about five or six control knobs and tightening the brand-new, steel set screws with "moderate" force (roughly estimated, somewhere between 15-25 inch-pounds), the 1.5mm driver was starting to slip a bit on around the sixth knob/screw. The 1.3mm, which was also use throughout the job, seemed to hold up pretty well.
