I purchased this product to put on my 99 F-250 PSD. So far the product has worked like a dream and required a very minimal amount of work to install. A possible drawback to some is a slight increase in turbo noise but I enjoy it :) . It's a very durable product and it solves the problem of dusting from the stock breather. It never hurts to let your engine breath a little easier either. I recommend this to anyone looking for a cost-effective solution to the stock filter.

This is big. Really big. No idea how I'd tell if this is effective at filtering out particles, but I'm willing to trust NAPA on it. What I can tell you this DOES do is increase throttle response and turbo-charger spool up on a 1997 F250 7.3L. There's some fun noises too :-)

It's a filter... it filters just fine.This review is not against the filter itself. Don't expect any of the other pieces of the adapter set for a 7.3 Powerstroke to work worth a darn. Spectre sells the polished tube and 2 wimpy hose clamps and they expect you to make that work. Let me tell you, NOT GONNA HAPPEN, definitely not applicable to a '97 Ford F-series, you need a 45° elbow and heavier clamps in order to ensure a proper seal. It does not surprise me that buying the 3 piece package made for more work than it was worth. What a shame.

I removed my factory airbox and filter tool the perfect place great price as well!

Added this filter to my 2000 7.3 powerstroke diesel and before I had a stock filter and box that was broken. Decided to upgrade to this and well worth the money! My truck builds better boost, makes better power and overall is feels smoother and a tad faster now. Great buy. Trucks breathing like it should!

Added to an 2002 F250 with 320K miles. Cleans up the right side of the bay. Also has a better seal into the turbo. It is a tight fit. You will hear the turbo dumping pressure, which was masked by the OEM airbox.I actually gained 1-2 mpg on the highway.
