WORKPRO 3-piece Locking Pliers Set, 10-inch Curved Jaw, 7-inch Curved Jaw and 6-1/2-inch Straight Jaw

I recently bought the WORKPRO 3-piece Jaw Locking Pliers Set (10" Curved Jaw, 7" Curved Jaw, and 6" Straight Jaw), and I have to say, as a first-time owner of locking pliers, I couldn't be happier! I finally understand why these are considered a staple in every toolbox. This set does exactly what it should: it clamps down securely and holds tight. I've used the curved jaws on everything from rounded bolts to awkward materials for temporary assembly, and once they're locked, they do not come loose until I release them. The adjustment knob is smooth, and the quick-release lever works flawlessly. The three different sizes give me great versatility for different projects, and the build quality feels solid and durable. These pliers have already saved me a lot of frustration on several jobs where a third hand was needed. If you, like me, are looking to get your first set of locking pliers, the WORKPRO set is a fantastic and reliable starting point. Highly recommended!

Value for money. Very happy to have it in my residence.

Good

Initial impressions is they are sturdy steel. The box was sealed and appeared to be unopened, but the pliers are fairly scuffed and scratched. They are tools, so it's cosmetically minor at best, but it makes it hard to tell if you're paying full price for an open box. The jaws are poorly machined. Lots of unexpected sharp edges sticking out, that cause metal flakes after using them a bit. My previous pliers all had wire cutters at the rear of the jaw, these don't and are just dull and flat. They seem they will do the job, at a budget price, but are not as refined as some of the bigger known names.

Looks and feels good quality and like the plastic handles makes them easier to grip and comfortable to handle. Have bought a second set to keep in the car 😁
