Q: How easy is assembling a molecule for a 6 year old?

My 4 year old and 9 year old were both assembling molecules with me and did not seem to have much problems doing it. I think a 6 year old would find it fairly easy to do.

Q: Have they fixed the size of the case yet? These reviews about the case got me questioning if I should buy it or not.

I have not had any issues with the size of the case. It fits perfectly on top of one another, and fits all the parts (though a little snuggly). It works good enough for me and my sixth grade students.

Q: can you make Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) with this set?

No. The set includes 15 C, 4 N, 10 O, and 30 H, whereas B12 is C63H88CoN14O14P. So buy 5 sets and you're good. Just beware that it would be approximately half a meter long and possibly as wide.
