I forgot how long ago we purchased one of these about 5yrs then they were impossible to find anywhere online, the one we purchased is still working, think I replaced the blub one time since purchase, it works really really well. I just wish the cord was white instead of black, so it was not so noticeable. I ordered 2 more today because I like to keep one in the bathroom and the living room. definitely worth the price they are asking. My wife loves the fact they don't make zap noises.

Came in two days! Product is bigger than I expected. Very easy to place. Long electrical cord which is awesome. And came with 3 sticky mats! So far been in use for 24hrs. Caught 2 flies and u don't even see them which is the best part. The kids love the light at night. I placed mine in the kitchen. So far so good.

I installed this on 07/10.Today is 08/09.Incredibly pleased with the results after 1 month of use. The picture says everything.It is a little bulky and not very aesthetically pleasing to look at, but based on the results I'm getting, it's worth it. I'd rather look at this chonk than the bugs and gnats that were flying around my kitchen.It only comes with two sticky paper replacements, which is disappointing. But all in all it has nearly solved the problem of too many bugs in my kitchen.

Great light but they quit selling refill sticky pads. I cannot find them anywhere. Even on manufacturers website. Tried off brand but can’t get the right size to fit. Super bummed because this worked amazingly for fruit flies in humid season.

We have a lot of pets and reptile tanks, and bugs are attracted like crazy to the humidity/moisture and the UV lamps on those tanks. However, I ordered this thing this past weekend, and we've already had a huge reduction in little gnats bugging the animals as well as not seeing many in the kitchen or anywhere else since installing it! There are plenty of those little rude critters stuck to the glue trap inside of the light fixture already, which is just awesome. It came with about 3 or so refills, so I'm hoping those last a while. I've bene hesitant to purchase any gnat-trapping products due to chemicals and sticky stuff in the home where one of the kids or pets could potentially get to it, but this bad boy is great since I installed it up on the wall and out of reach. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with it! I wish I would've known about it sooner!

The bug light itself seems to work fine. Caught quite a few gnats and other Critters on the little sticky pad. The problem is that just over 3 weeks into it, the bulb went out and replacement bulbs are not cheap. The vast majority have awful reviews as well, so it might not be the fault of Black & decker. Hopefully the replacement bulbs available here on Amazon last longer than the one that was included.

We get a lot of small gnats and no-see-ums and mosquitos in the kitchen area. I installed this high on the wall (not too high so that Ican open it to preplace the bug-sticky-mat). It comes with three bug-sticky-mats and we have had to use just one so far for several months now. we are very happy with it. We run the the using just wnen whe notice flying bugs in the house or when we know that a door has been open for while and the potential is that bugs would have gotten inside the house.If I could suggest that it needs one improvement it is that I would like it to have an in-line on/off switch. an alternative to this for others would be to pluc it into an outlet that has a wall-switch. Otherwise you are pluging it in and un-plugging it to turn it on and off.The cord is not long, but sinnce it is above the counter-space in the kitchen we plug it into an outlet that is above the counter on the wall, so that we could mount it high on the wall - close to the ceiling.
