Gizeh Unisex Leather Sandals

My wife loved them. This was a present and she was very happy with them. Ideal for summer or just wearing casual footwear. Worthy buying, she bought another pair. Comfortable and easy to adjust.

This is my second pair of Birkenstock sandals, love them for summer

I must be honest in that I have never found the original Birkenstock (Jesus) sandals super attractive...but people have always raved about their comfort. Even so - I couldn't bring myself to buy a pair because I just didn't think they were cute or feminine - and, the few times I had tried some on, I thought they were NOT comfortable and I had no idea what people were talking about. Well, fast forward to about two weeks ago when I was reading a travel blog post about travel capsule wardrobe items and the lady mentioned this style of sandal. She extolled their virtue of being incredibly comfortable, hardy, and feminine enough to wear with just about anything. She also explained how you need to wear your Birkenstock sandals for a few days so that the heat from your feet can mold and shape the foot bed exactly to your foot. Wait, what?! Light bulb!! After taking a long, hard look at sandals she posted, I thought the day had come to try, especially since they looked way cuter (to me) than the original sandals and - if they were versatile enough to go with shorts, skirts, dresses, and pants...then why not? I ordered them and they arrived quickly. The box they came in was crunched seven ways to hell (torn, missing pieces) but the sandals inside the remains of the poor box seemed unscathed. I especially liked the color, which was true to the online photo, and the buckle, which I adjusted to fit my foot. I have rather flat feet so at first, I found the foot bed to be hard and uncomfortable, but I persevered and kept them on...and then - before I knew it - they became incredibly comfortable...AND...they support my flat feet beautifully!! Now? I love everything about these sandals! I am a very (VERY) happy camper - and you will be, too! They are very well constructed and I imagine wearing these amazing shoes for a long, long time. :)

I have worn these manydays now. And let me tell you: THEY ARE LIFE SAVERS! They do fit as expected, very hard sole asn shoe in general. I am very used to flip flops so I can say that the toe is a bit of an issue for the first year but by the end of the second day, I had zero issues at all (didn't have big ones to begin with, just felt hard, that's it) The sole really start acommadating your foot really fast and the feel of the leather suede is AMAZING, I don't have much of an arch so this shoe really bugged me from there the first two days but in the end it will be good for posture, feet, etc and after two days I really don't feel anything but support in everysingle inch of my foot. I used them a day after going to a club, they saved my hurting feet, I am so bumed I can't wear them everyday to work :(. So after having these for a few days, I did go a SIZE down. I am a solid 7 in sandals, pumps, flip flops, etc. and a soid 7.5 in tennis shows, I bought the 37 regular, they fit great, my toes have room in the front and my heel has room in the back, you really really need to try these on in a store or really know your feet to perfection, trust me go a size down. Soooo, once your feet get used to the footbed you will be in feet heaven, really really a great investment shoe wise. The color is a deep wine burgundy, wayyy darker than the image (BETTER, I love darker color just a pop od differente) So for me that was a big plus. I am beyond happy!! So: No toe issue, great fit, they run a size big (go down 1 size), great leather, great footbed,

You simply can’t go wrong with Birkenstock! The Gizeh Thong Sandals were a gift for my daughter in law. They’re comfortable and pretty enough to dress up or down. We were both very happy!

Just like expected!

It’s slightly bigger fit, should’ve gotten a size smaller but it’s very comfortable so I don’t mind. It has good arch support. Looks great with anything.
