Velpro Mesh Pet Shoulder Harness Collar, 15"-16", Red

This is the best harness I’ve ever had for my little shih tzu fur babies. This one is for our medium size poodle mix and so far is working fine. Very easy to put on the dogs.

Very nice construction and very true to size.I admittedly was reluctant to order a size medium for a ten pound Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier mix or Shorky as they are called.Her chest measurment was almost perfectly in between the small and medium sizes. Exactly 14" so I elected to go with the medium. The medium is perfect if you position it as tight as possible and has two inches to grow into. It is tight enough that she can't get out.Buying the correct pet harness and accessories is one of the most excruciating tasks. I hope this helps somewhat.The quality of the harness is very good. The material is stiff and the velcro is strong. The stitching is quality and I don't foresee any problems.The stiffness goes away, I simply hand washed quickly and it's now much better.

I absolutely love this harness! I originally bought one for my mini dachshund. It worked out so well that I bought one for my small mixed breed that was a master of backing out of every harness we tried. This one worked perfectly for her too! It fits snug and secure but doesn't rub behind the legs and doesn't put any pressure on their necks.

Without a doubt, the best harness for a small dog with a sensitive trachea. I've purchased at least a half-dozen harnesses for my 15 lb poodle and this one beats them all.

My 20 pound small dog has always worn a size M harness. This harness is about 6" short of meeting end-to-end when tried on. Before ordering I showed the Amazon photo and description to the Vet. She approved it to solve the problem harnesses caused: pressing on my dog's trachea when she pulls on her leash. I'm returning this size for a larger one. It's nice looking, easy to put on the dog yet seems like it will hold her securely. It seems durable and well-made.

Seems to be a nice quality but size up. I ordered a small for my 10 lb. maltipoo and it's too small.

My 11 year old chihuahua has a collapsing trachea and short legs so regular harness’s would rub his throat during walks causing him to cough. This shoulder harness is perfect bc it doesn’t touch his throat at all and he seems comfortable. He is 12 lbs and I got him a small which is too small and a medium which is a little big but it works perfectly fine. He needs to lose a pound or too to fit in the small. I have both for when he loses some weight.

I have three Dachshunds and I went to use it for the first time and all three of dogs stepped right out of this piece of dangerous junk. Yes, I measured and bought the correct size for all three dogs but since this isn't a harness but a loop with GIANT size leg holes all three figured out all they had to do was get one leg out of the leg hole and the rest was a quick and easy escape. Thank goodness this happened inside by my front door. But this design is a non-starter. I was standing right there getting ready to take them on a walk and at three different each one of them quickly and quietly figured out how to step and slip out of the this crap design. DO NOT BUY THIS IT'S NOT SAFE. This review applies to SMALL, MEDIUM & LARGE sizes.
