Travelon Anti-Theft Heritage Small Crossbody Bag

I love this purse for travel. It is roomy enough to carry needed items but not to big and cumbersome. I bought another bag with the anti theft material but it was very slippery and I did not like that it would slip off your seat when not using it. This bag is made of canvas and is very durable. I love that the zippers lock to the bag so pick pocketers can not get inside. The inside is lined with the anti theft protection material so no one can scan your credit cards. Highly recommend this purse.

I'm extremely picky about purses especially for use in a practical way. The strap is comfortable, and the many pockets are sufficient without being excessive, very nice color too, I thought it would be drab but it's actually cool looking purse. Design is ideal doesn't bounce around and is lightweight yet quality. Probably the best purse I've ever purchased. Enough room for anything you would need to bring along with you.

I bought this for travel after being robbed my last time overseas. I like that it has pockets with zippers that can hook onto each other, making it more difficult for theft. This bag had plenty of room to cram all the essentials. I also sprayed it with waterproofing spray before our trip, which also seemed to work pretty well (without changing the color of the fabric). I like the inside pocket with RFID protection that I could keep my credit cards and passport in. Great bag! Since returning home, I've been using it as my everyday purse

Mixed feelings about this crossbody bag…. The fabric of the bag was not as expected; it is more like heavy denim than canvas. There are marks in the fabric, like nail scratches or having scraped against something. Is that because it was used and returned, or just manufacturing/handling? Either way, the purse looked like it would not wear well due to these marks.I was disappointed in the fabric, but not the purse design. The features of the bag (RFID, pockets, zippers and zipper locks, overall size) are fantastic for a day bag or travel. I would have loved this bag if it were made in a ballistic nylon material. Maybe a lighter color (I purchased and returned the Indigo (dark blue) would not have shown these same marks on the fabric, but I don’t have good luck with light colored purses. I’ve rated it 4 stars for the design and style.

I got this specific bag because I had been on the hunt for something anti theft, has a separate pouch that can fit a phone (separate from the main compartment), is not too deep (items get lost in the bottom), not too heavy (will hurt your neck and shoulder over time), and not too big (again, things will get lost and the bigger the bag, the more I will fill it).I have gone through a Sherpani, multiple Baggalini’s, and a few Travelon’s. Besides the Sherpani, they are all bags that I would use, depending on the circumstance. If I needed a small backpack for a track meet or event, I would use my Baggalini anti theft, but it’s too big to carry around for everyday use. The sling bag came close, but it was also bigger than I needed and I had to dig around too much for smaller items.I got the dark khaki-ish color (on clearance), and while quite ugly (IMO), it’s very nondescript and unlikely to be targeted for theft. So that’s a bonus.It fits my phone in the front zippered section, my mini calendar in the rear zippered section, my keys and AirPod case on the outside connected by carabiners, and inside the main compartment I can fit 2 lip glosses and a lip stick, a pack of gum, a plastic case filled with floss picks, a tissue packet, travel lotion, a mirror, my Benadryl tabs, my coach’s pass, and a travel perfume. And I put cash and my checkbook on the inside zippered section.That may seem like a lot, but I have had a whole lot more in other bags, which makes them heavy and cluttered. Anyway, the size is perfect with room to spare.I also like the ‘ruggedness’ of the bag. It feels well made. Only time will tell, but I’d get the blue bag of the price dropped. And if they make a black one, I’d get that too.

This small cross over bag is the perfect size for all of the essential travel items. In the front compartment, I fit two passports, my small change purse with my credit cards and medical cards. In the back compartment, a small writing pad, pen, boarding passes, and two lanyards. And in the center, my earbuds, iPhone, charger and cable, sun glasses, another pen, two days of meds in travel containers, a small pack of tissues and wet ones.I love that the credit cards are protected, and the front and main zippers lock. The strap cannot be cut, and it is easily secured to the back of my chair while out and about.This is the third cross body bag I’ve tried for travel, and it’s just perfect! Highly recommended!

I purchased this purse for the RFID factor. From my understanding, RFID is supposed to protect your key fob signal and phone signal by blocking the transmission so thieves cannot steal your information or car. This purse did neither. I put my key fob in the center, large pocket and walked up to my car and I was able to open it without taking the fob out of the closed pocket. Next I had a friend call my phone while in the large center pocket. My phone rang. With that said, I lover everything else about this purse. The crossbody strap is easy to adjust. The zipper clips are easy to clip on and off the D ring. I can put my iPhone Pro Max in the angled zipper pocket easily along with a lip gloss. The side zip without the locking zipper is handy. The center pocket holds a long wallet, my sunglasses in the small slip in holder. In the other slip in holder, my lipstick, hand sanitizer, and pen. I could even put some more smaller things in the side holders. The color is true to the picture on the web site. It is light weight and I think it will be easy to wash. So, 3 stars because I love the size and functionality of the purse. If I was buying it for the RFID protection only, 1 star.
