Pattern Name:10 sheet 4"x8" For maximum bond strength, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned and dried. Typical cleaning solvents are heptane or isopropyl alcohol. Carefully read and follow manufacturer’s precautions and directions for use when using cleaning solvents. 3M Adhesive Transfer Tapes with 3M Low Surface Energy Acrylic Adhesive 300LSE provides high bond strength to most surfaces, including many low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene and powder coated paints. The acrylic adhesive also provides excellent adhesion to surfaces contaminated lightly with oil typically used with machine parts

When Others Fail
Background: I am a retired mechanical engineer. During my employed years I learned of, tested, and applied several 3M adhesives (No. I never represented 3M or worked for 3M). I found the VHB, LSE, and VLSE lines to be very good for critical applications. Therefore, when recently presented with an application issue in my vehicle, I went looking for a quickly acquired, small amount of LSE adhesive. I knew what to expect, and my expectations have been met. The description of my application (at the end of this review) demonstrates the usage elements of both my dislikes and my likes.Dislike: 1) The thin film is very useful in some applications, but having some "body" would help in others. I would have preferred having some compliant thickness in the adhesive (The 3M VHB does). I had to add a compliant layer before I could use this form of LSE (more on that later). 2) The cost is quite steep for such a small amount. I understand that a lot of the cost is found outside of the basic material. Packaging, inventory, and handling all add to the price. Still, either the operations are very inefficient or the profit margin is very large. I strongly suspect the latter. Unfortunately, as my mother used to say, "Beggars can't be choosers." I needed the material, so I grudgingly paid their price.Like: The name of the adhesive, LSE, stands for "Low Surface Energy." This means that the adhesive is intended for use on low surface energy materials such as plastic (commonly used plastics like polyethylene and polypropylene have very low surface energy). The lower the surface energy, the harder it is to make something stick to it. This LSE material hangs on where other adhesives do not. Additionally, the LSE hangs on across a range of environmental conditions that make other adhesives fail. How I Used the LSE This Time: The cracked windshield on my vehicle was replaced. I needed to remount my dash camera. I had previously mounted the camera using a small amount (about 1/2 inch) of VLSE scrap "borrowed" from work. That resource was no longer available. The windshield installer used some tape that he had. Unfortunately, the camera fell off in less than a day. The installer's tape held to the glass, but released from the plastic base for the camera. I acquired the LSE from Amazon and some thin, white, foam (spongy), double-sided adhesive picture mounts from Home Depot (they are available many places). I used the dash camera's base as a circle template and cut out two circles of LSE and one circle of foam. I needed the foam to compensate for the slight curvature of the window in the mounting area. The adhesive on the foam was insufficient to hold the camera by itself (Yes. I tested that. The camera quickly headed for the dashboard). I applied one circle of LSE to each face of the foam, mounted the assembled adhesive pad to the camera's base, and then mounted that assembly to the vehicle's window. That was several weeks ago. We have had 100 F + days with car interior temperatures topping 130 F. We have had nights with freeze warnings. We have traveled over 1,700 miles. The dash camera remains firmly in place.

The absolute beast of double stick tape!
I use a lot of tape at work for different things and this stuff (300lse) is by far the best that I've come across to date. Let me give you an idea of what I've found that this stuff will stick to...Vinyl, leather, nylon, polycarbonate, abs, pla, glass, acrylic, rubber, gore-tex, urethane, phenolic plastic, aluminum, steel, copper, brass, titanium, nickel, paper, velcro, stainless steel, and the list really does go on.I think that this is now my "go to" tape.

Works on silicone-like phone case.
My cheap phone wallet was coming un-stuck from my silicone-like case so I peeled one paper side off, placed it on the sticky and cut to shape. I cleaned the case with an alcohol wipe and let dry. (I always do this for command hooks and other sticky things). Then peeled the other paper and stuck it to the case. Waited a few hours to touch it so the adhesive would work best and voila! Works 1000x better than the original sticky. 10/10 would recommend for this use. Will update if any issues.

Boveda repair
Using this in my wine cooler humidor. Bought 2 boveda mounts but the adhesive that comes with them is TUURRRRIBLE! Can't even count the number of times I've opened the humidor and the packs had fallen onto my cigars. Boveda sent replacement adhesive to make a repair but it looked cheap and I wasn't going to keep risking it so I purchased the 3m stuff.Comes in small sheets that are easy enough to cut with a sharp razor- would not suggest you do it with scissors. After cleaning the area and applying the adhesive haven't had a problem since. Packs are sitting tight against the roof of the humidor with my beautiful cigars directly underneath without me worrying if they will be crushed.

Works great! Just what I was looking for!
This adhesive is great! Just what I was looking for! I printed out “stickers” on clear adhesive but they wouldn’t stick to my Hydro Flask. So I stuck the stickers to this 3m adhesive and cut around it - and it’s PERFECT! No doubt we will be ordering more!

Perfect for reattaching the rubber grip on my cameras
I bought this to use to glue back the rubber grip material that was peeling from my Canon 1DX camera. I read online that this is what the factory service was using instead of crazy glue and it was perfect! I just put the old grip material and traced it out over the transfer tape and cut it with a razor knife. This sheet is super thin and sticks great. Just saved a bunch of money and time using this DIY method! Plenty left for more repairs and uses.

Love this stuff, will probably find other uses beyond my immediate needs.
Need to have patience and be careful when working with this as it's SO sticky and a real thin film. But, that's exactly what I was looking for in my application. Bought just one 4x8 sheet to handle to different jobs and have plenty left over for future needs. One application I need thin and real strong double sided tape that had to be as clear as possible. What I was adhering is clear (a piece of plastic onto newly painted wood trim) and I didn't want to see the tape through it. It's not 100% optically clear, but enough so that no one will really notice the tape. The other application I needed it for it had all the same requirements except that it didn't NEED to be clear. I would buy again, but I think this sheet will last me awhile.

can't hold plastic light fixture onto the metal hood frame
we bought this to fix the plastic overhead lights fixture falls off the metal exhaust hood. it was easy to apply the tape; but the light fixture fell off again within 2 days. so, the tape doesn't hold plastic material to metal material.we are back to square one.

SMALL
Small like So tiny it's almost unusable, and absolutely ridiculous for the price
