I bought them because of the price and fast shipping and I wasn't dissappointed. Right out of the box I stretched them out and each stringer hung straight down, soft clear plastic over the wire. The light switch has many choices so you can have them blink, sparkle, alternate in rhythm, and more. they stretch quite wide so you need a long width window or use it on a large wall to spread it apart. One note, don't loosen up by the row, just loosen the width, they are tied by each row, untie the rows after you hang them, this way they won't tangle. They are really bright lights, my only wish would have been that you could dim them slightly.
