Montana Cans Montana GOLD 400 ml Color, Copperchrome Spray Paint

I got this paint for a furniture project and I didn’t know what to expect. I LOVE that you can hold it so close to your project without creating goopy drips. Big box store bought spray paint will instruct you to hold it 12 - 18 inches away but it’s more like 18 - 20 unless you want that trashy chic 😅 I think this instructs you to hold it 6 inches away. It might not sound like a big deal but it really allows for more control and greater precision.Also- most store bought spray paint has an insane amount of plastic on that metal can. Usually in the form of a giant cap that usually fails by the end of the first use. What Montana does is something so simple yet so ingenious- they put a little plastic washer between the spray nozzle and the can so that the nozzle cannot be depressed at all. It’s easy to remove and replace too! This is great if you don’t use the entire can in one go.Another thing that I love is that Montana doesn’t make a mess of my hands so I can use it without gloves.And finally, the actual paint. It’s wonderful. Consistent color and even application. This stuff is a dream come true!Now I only wish that all montana paints were available on Amazon with 2 day prime free shipping.

I was looking for a blue spray paint that had a bit of a lavendar tone. I saw the color pallette for Montana spray paints and noticed "Gonzo" looked about perfect. I thought it was named after the Muppet character who is, indeed, a shade of blue. I viewed the color pallette on different devices as I know it can vary. Each displayed about the same color. When the packaged arrived the color indicator cap was absolutely purple, not at all blue. In fact, I pulled up the color pallette again to compare and it looked very much like their Lavendar spray paint. The can is marked correctly, but color is not accurate. We really like Montana paints but this is something we have experienced a few times and it can be a bit frustrating when you have a project that needs to be completed. And for reference, Gonzo isn't lavendar - have some respect. His life is bad enough having a phallic-like schnoz and an unhealthy attraction to chickens that borders criminal acts against poultry. If it weren't for him being a eunuch he may have spent his miserable weiner-nose, chicken loving life incarcerated with the other wayward muppets. Now you have to add insult to injury and misclassify his pelt identity. Jim Henson would be reeling. If they produce a yellow paint and call it "Kermit"... so help me God there will be hell to pay. The media could not be loaded. Great fine spray, in my case over metal. Appears to be pretty tough.

I use this paint on art projects, on paper, and on canvas. I really like it. Expensive, but an excellent product. If you want quality for your art projects, this spray paint can be right for you.I also purchased dozens of spray nozzles, as the normal white button type will clog after a few uses. Nothing can be done to stop that, even soaking in soapy water. So, I would say, buy a box of spray buttons, highly affordable on Amazon. I like the product as an artist. By the way, I am not a graffiti artist, more or less a collage maker.

I spray paint furniture and decor items a fair amount and have a good understanding of how to do it correctly. I usually use other brands but my daughter chose this color as "exactly" the orange she was looking for. I ordered 3 cand as we planned to paint several items in her room. One can came with the stopper ring off and the spray tip in place with paint sprayed within the bag it was packaged in. I did receive a refund promptly from amazon for that can. I used one of the other cans to paint this shelf and, as others have stated, the paint came out gritty or sandy. It seemed as if it was drying in the air before it contacted the shelf.These photos were taken several days after I painted it. It was thoroughly cured!I DO NOT RECOMMEND this paint!

Wonderful paint. But the nozzle is horrible

The best spray paint! Very fine even mist, no droplets like other spray paints, true chrome, looks very shiny. Amazing color. Read the fine print how to use, don’t be surprised if it arrives without a cap, there's a reason for that.
