Great synthetic corks

I love these corks, but I am beginning to wonder about the impact synthetic corks may have on our environment.These corks are supposed to be some of the best for controlling oxygen ingress.However, I am growing concerned over the issue of microplastics and the environmental impact of plastic corks. Supposedly, there are different lines of nomacorc that may be more sustainable. Then again, harvesting cork isn't great on the environment either. Quite the pickle for a wine maker.
