I really like these socks: Dickies Women's Dri-Tech Essential Moisture Control Crew Socks. I first ordered a size Small since I wear a 5.5 size shoe (USA size). But the socks were too small. I still wore them. Recently, I ordered the medium and they fit much better. In the photo, the left is the medium size and the sock on the right is a small size. (They had been worn and washed.)

These are the best if you are working all day

Very comfy sock for my 8” work boots. Sometimes a little restricting in the calf after a long day, but that’s probably more of a me problem. Lol. The elastic does stay up well and I do find they are okay in the breathable dept. They last pretty good for the price!

I was searching for a pair of socks that wouldn’t get holes in them over time from my steel-toe boots. These socks did not disappoint; they’re super durable. They are super soft and comfortable because they are made of cotton. Also, unlike other socks, these do not leave my toes sweaty in between. I’m on my second set because I wanted one with color, and for the price and quality, you can’t beat it!

Size 7.5 with normal size calves and got a size M (6-9). Out of the package, they fit real snug like compression socks and they're a little tight in the toe area. Hoping they don't shrink or they will be way too tight. I wanted to size up based on other reviews but the L have been out of stock forever. If you have thicker calves, these might not fit well.
