Great, compact, useful kitchen tool.
I've been using this for over a year, now, and it's still perfect for all my Mandolin needs. The adjustable thickness is wonderful to dial in with the screw. It cuts cleanly. I'm super fast with it compared to a knife as I always know the slices are going to be perfectly even. It's a solid piece of equipment and easy to just throw in the dishwasher on the top specials shelf so no one cuts themselves when taking it out. The knife edge is super keen. I like that it comes with a holder for the last bits of any vegetable, and the julienning blades have all the thicknesses I've needed. The fry cutting width makes for skinnyish fries, but when they're perfectly even they all cook the same time anyway. Love that I can slice a whole onion, a whole potato, or all kinds of things on this, including making zucchini slices for lasagna so easily. Love this thing. Best thing is that it packs up very tightly, so I don't have to relegate that much shelf space for it and its extra blades.

Maybe the best mandoline you can buy
I have a $200 French Bron Mandoline but this Jumbo Benriner slices much thinner. I shave onions for smashburgers and it is the best thing on the market. The blade is sturdy and sharp and can easily be sharpened by you or a pro.

Great sized slices
Bought this for my dad as he owns a fast food business, he says the slices are perfect and it's extremely easy to use and very durable. He loves it so far

Works as advertised. Toothed Blades Disappointing.
Bought the Super Benriner mandolin slicer based on the large number of positive reviews on evil YouTube and Amazon. The plastic portion of the device is high quality and up to heavy use. The blade is very sharp as stated. I discovered much to my dismay that the toothed blades hit the main blade while cutting raw potato. I was able to reduce the dents in the main blade with my honing steel, but sharpness has been reduced. Overall, I'm satisfied with the Super Benriner. I'm disappointed with the toothed blades. That means I would need to buy a main blade for each toothed blade to minimize damage to the main blade. That can get expensive quick. Apparently additional blades are not available from Benriner. Aftermarket blades labeled Benliner are available on Amazon. I also bought the Jumbo Benriner mandolin slicer on a whim. The Jumbo is much better than the Super. The blades are exactly the same. The Super is shorter, wider, cannot use toothed blades, and more robust disassembly. The height tray is pinned by four sliding points making it more stable and easier to use. The height tray adjustment is held in by screws. The screws must be removed to disassemble completely. The blade is held by two screws that fit into stainless nutserts (for lack of better description). This makes it a bit more robust for blade removal. I highly recommend the Super unless you need the toothed blades. I was able to sharpen the blade on the Super, but I'm very experienced at sharpening. It was not easy to sharpen. The height tray moves a bit as it is supported by two notches. It is removable without a screwdriver, but less stable. I get no benefit from Amazon for my opinion on these products. Not even kudos; Amazon keeps blocking my reviews as well.

Size up
This is the best slicer you can get. Works great and washes easily. The blade is incredibly sharp, so be very careful and safe. I cut myself being careless with it. Always use the provided guard. This size is a little small making it a difficult to slice larger onions, tomatoes, and lettuce for example without cutting them into smaller pieces. So if you are worried about that, size up.

High quality, removable blade, great for high-volume cooking/work
We use this to slice citrus for dehydration, and once you get the slice thickness right, this mandolin is PERFECT. The removable blade is amazing for commercial use because YOU CAN SHARPEN IT! It's easy to use, built to last, and has safety features (it's a mandolin, so clumsy people will get injured). The quality makes my job go so much faster.
