The two straight sides of the seat are 15-1/2 inches in length. The measurement from the back corner to the center front rounded edge is 15-3/4". Height from the floor to seat is 18-1/2 inches. Yes, the wood has natural variations in color from light brown to medium caramel brown, but it is quite attractive in my opinion. It is natural teak. I use it in the corner of a large walk-in shower. It gets wet when shower is used, and I wipe off the top with my towel when done, but that probably isn't necessary. It looks like new after several months of getting wet in the shower. Very comfortable to sit on, gives a spa-like feel to my bathroom. I would recommend this product.

Q: I can't tell from the photo. Is there space between the slats for water drainage?

Yes, there are spaces between the slats that allow for water drainage.

Q: Any Issues with mold?

No, not at all - I have owned this corner bench about 15 months and keep it in my large walk-in shower. It does get wet every time one showers, and I do wipe the top off so water doesn't spot it ... but don't wipe down the legs etc. and there is no mold. Love it. Gives at nice spa feel to the bathroom!

Q: Can an adult sit on the bench

Yes, an adult can sit comfortably on this bench. It will support up to 250 lbs.
