Really wonderful and helpful book.
I've found Broom Casting a little intimidated, but I love the look. So I was really excited to hear about this book. Brad Smith's book really takes the mystery out of the process. He breaks down the steps really well, and walks you through the process clearly and simply. Then he shows you how to look at, clean/cut, and finally create with the castings. He really covers this cool technique from top to bottom. It's all in this great little book.

Great Reference
This is a well written book with clear directions on doing broom casting. I had seen a demonstration at William Holland school of Lapidary in Georgia but I had never had any hands on training. With this book as reference I successfully turned six ounces of scrap into useful broom cast pieces to use in my jewelry fabrication.

Price too high
I thought the price was high considering the content. Also, color photos would have been better. Info could have been done in a pamphlet form.

Broom casting
Well written book that is easy to follow. I have broom casted before and found the book to be a good reference to use when I decide to do it on my own.

Informative
Lovely little book that clearly explains broom casting, equipment, safety, what to do with the cast. Could be visually improved by colour photos but that doesnโt detract from the information.
