**Q: Is this system all you need or do you need to add a harness or other item?**
A: The harness is definitely needed.  There are several optional add ons to the basic harness and tree strap - this is one of them.  I have the basic harness and this and love it.

**Q: Does this come with a strap to secure it to the tree above your head? Unclear based on description and answers so far**
A: If you are wearing a harness with a tail ( safty strap) off it, you simply clip it on at the bottom of the tree ,climb the tree and you are secure once you get to the top. You don't need another strap or rope on the top of the tree to attach to your harness. You are already set.
There are plenty of you tube videos showing how fast and efficient it is.

**Q: in need of just some cowbell the rest is working fine how can I order these?**
A: Www.huntersafetysystem.com They sell the cowbell covers there.

**Q: Do you need a tree strap or does this come with one?**
A: This replaces a tree strap and does not come with one.  You'll need one while installing this to your tree for the first time, but not after that.  You attach your safety harness to this and slide the prussic knot up as you climb.  When you get to the top, you slide it above your head and hunt.  You are attached all the way from the ground to the stand and back, never unhooking until you are safely on the ground.
