works great. we've cracked at least 5 gallons of walnuts so far and it has held up nicely. it is adjustable for different kinds of nuts also. a very good buy.

This device is wonderful! I am able to shell nuts quickly and easily with one swift movement. Very happy I purchased it!

I will post a followup on the durability of this device, but I wanted to comment now on the service and initial impressions. When I got this in, my overall impression was good. Seems like a nice little nutcracker, especially for $12.99. As some said, a bigger base would add stability, but would make it bulkier. The handle however would be better if bent forward a bit. The straight handle makes it harder to push, where if it were curved down toward the device, you would push “down” more than forward. But, they are all designed like that. I may correct that. I did have a minor issue with the wood base itself. Not the fault of the company, likely just a defective piece of wood. Not a deal breaker. But, I contacted the company (Maoershan [Kitchen] and simply shared the issue. They immediately contacted me and took care of the problem. I cant say enough about the great customer care they give. So, we’ll see about the durability, but don't hesitate to buy from this company !

Great little nut cracker. I use it primarily for pecans and it works pretty good. My intent is to crack the pecan into perfect halves. For the most part, it works great but am still experimenting with the adjustment.

This nut cracker did not last very long. After ≈20 black walnuts, the "anvil" side bent 7°. Because the metal holding the anvil has deformed, the anvil no longer threads in & out, rendering the product useless. Please see attached image. I do not recommend this product because it is not sturdy.
