The material may be OXFORD.Very sturdy,but lightweight, it comes with a adjustable strap, can be used as a backpack, shoulder bag, cross-body bag, tote bag, electronic bag, train case. Also can attach to trolley case. It also comes with a mirror, love it and recommend!

Is this large makeup bag portable and suitable for 2 days travel?

I am a traveling girl. All my grooming products, make-up, brush, medications, etc. fit in this one case. It is easy to sit on the bed and access all of my needs(it is also great for storing makeup!) ,....plus it is light, even when filled I keep it filled with duplicates of my home needs, so I am always ready to go. It hooks on to the luggage and I just roll .It fits very nicely under the seat in a plane, it is a large travel makeup bag.

Is it only fit for makeup? Can I use it for my camera gear or if it can be used more than a makeup case?

Yes, I think so, I give this bag as birthday gift for my sister, she like makeup and camera, she just use this bag for camera gear (flashes, cords, etc) and said it has proven to be extremely durable and far less expensive than traditional camera storage. Also, one of my friend bought this bag to store all her husbands diabetic supplies when he travels.It is fitting all his daily/weekly supplies. Even though he knows it is orginally a makeup bag but the black color doesn't make it look like one. He rather carry this then the card board box hes been lugging around. Worth the money!

Is this lady makeup bag suitable for buying for my girlfriend?

Yes, if she has a lot of make up. I have my make up and all my face line items, brushes, and pallets in it. It is big...sort of the size of a brief case.  It has really cleaned up all my "make up baskets"  I have everything neat and organized now. My main reason for purchasing was that I had so much and it was scattered.  Since it is your girlfriend you may want to go with one of the pretty train cases. They are really pretty and the big ones hold a lot.  This black one  can actually be used by a make up artist. It holds a ton and it is not really pretty. When you open it for use it takes up a lot of space as it is make to hold a great deal. Hope this helps.
