A Catchy Satire That Entertains Kids but Educates Adults
I have seen this kind of situation in my everyday life, not just in the 1917 context. One may start from democracy and end up in autocracy; another may begin with a fancy version of socialism but end up in a weird, dictatorial setup. So, leaders need to be nationalists — but more importantly, citizens need to be careful! The animals' dream of a just society (modeled on socialism or communism) is gradually twisted into a dictatorship. We, as leaders, seduce the public by promising equal justice and patriotism, but it often ends in strange forms of inequality that are visible even to a newborn. That's why we love to lead uneducated people who lack critical thinking — they’re easy to mislead, and when deceived, they don’t act.

Many Modern Lessons
One of the most important stories ever written. How gradually things decayed from the hearth of a joyous rebellion to a place that was even worse than before. The trickery, betrayal, malignancy, outright lies. The force with which everything was establishedThere is much to be careful of and pay attention to and many similar signs observed in society today. Reading this will open your eyes and it will do so quicklyI fear for the future of America as many parallels can be seen. Especially with the notion of the gradual slipping away from true goals, and the incessant empty promises that most in the country seem to “magically” forget were made

Reflection on Animal Farm
George Orwell’s Animal Farm is a powerful allegory about communism and the dynamics of power. The story begins with the animals overthrowing human control of the farm, united under the idea that all comrades would be equal. They establish the Seven Commandments to ensure fairness and equality. However, after their leader’s death, a new leadership emerges that gradually manipulates these commandments. Subtle changes are made, unnoticed by the hardworking animals, and the ideals of equality are undermined.Despite their revolutionary efforts, the working animals find themselves in the same position as before—or worse. They toil harder than ever, yet the benefits of their labor are enjoyed by a small elite group that controls the farm. Hunger and poverty plague the majority, while the elite revel in abundance. The only difference is that humans are no longer in charge, replaced instead by a false sense of independence. The leaders feed the animals stories of their heroic past battles to maintain control, but in reality, nothing has truly changed for the working class. This allegory extends beyond communism; it resonates with the structure of modern societies, whether democratic, republican, or communist. Across political systems, power often concentrates in the hands of a shrewd few, leaving the majority to labor under challenging conditions. The middle class and working class are burdened with longer hours and minimal wages, while the privileged few enjoy the lion’s share of resources and wealth.

Raw
It's such a great book with such a strong message that, even today, applies and has similarities with the way society and governments are arpund the world. Truly a masterpiece.

must read at least once
Such a good illustration on how power can corrupt anyone, how people can be conned into believing things to be true and how politics plays a huge role in it!

Good
I've heard that this book is going to be banned, and that makes me sad. It's great and is very realistic.

Wicked statement about dictatorships
Entertaining, funny and a cutting, wicked statement about politics/dictatorships. Should inspire a moment of self-reflection for those in power who take and give nothing back.
