These are so fresh they still have the flavor film on them. I’ve never had them be so strong smell and taste. I’m very happy with this purchase. I’ve bought the case several times and this is the best quality it’s ever been. I bought the 12 pack. Great for oral fixations from someone that smoked a pack a day for 9-10 years and been using these for years.

--PROS ----Taste: They taste great. The flavors are well blended so none overpower others, though I think my favorite is a little stronger - cinnamon. Neem is the ingredient that gives American licorice its flavor, which is a disgusting taste to me, so I'm glad I don't notice it.Health Benefits: The ingredients are impressive & do kill germs & stimulate circulation of gums, helping me keep my teeth. I have never bought toothpicks for the taste, but was excited to buy these when I saw these contain neem as the 1st ingredient.Case:Side-to-Side: 1 & 5/8 inchesHeight: 2.5 inchesFront-to-Back: 3/4 inch (includes ledge that sticks out to enable easy opening)It is small enough to take up little space in my car console. I like that it is clear so I can see I'm not about to run out even when offering them to others in my car. The lid opens easily -hinge fashion.Pick Quality: They are thick & strong enough not to break even when under the pressure of pushing against cheek to get to back teeth. (I want neem back there too.) Further description of picks included below.----CONS----Lid: This is really the only con. I wish it dispensed 1 at a time or had a sliding lid so I don't have to touch so many picks each time I get 1 out. Someone less germ-conscience than I am won't care, because you don't touch the end that goes in your mouth. Only 1 end is pointed. The other is shaped like a fancy dowel to enhance your ability to grip it well.Case Size (dimensions listed above):This isn't really a con, but I mention it here for reader benefit. This is a great size for a car console, however, since I don't need 100 toothpicks in my purse (or pocket), a 2nd, smaller case would be helpful. I repurposed the vial that extra mechanical pencil erasers come in to carry a few Neem Toothpicks in my purse.

I have tried both the Thursday plantation and tea tree therapy brand toothpicks here on amazon and these blow those two brands out of the water. I have a cold right now and the flavor is still bold and easily detectable. These are the thickest, strongest and least likely to splinter than the other two brands. Not to mention these taste the best out of the others.
