I just used this on my ear and it was perfect. I had tried q-tips and they pushed the earwax in my ear and actually plugged it. This I directly sprayed into my ear and it does not hurt, at the most it startles you. Then you wait, then you feel some effervescence, then you hear the crackling of the ear wax breaking up. The liquid came out of my ear and I used a paper towel to wipe it up. I didn't need to go back inside my ear.
