How many gallons does it hold?

The tank holds 4 gallons when full; it has graduated markings of 1, 2, and 3 gallons also. When full, it weighs 50 pounds. The back pack makes it feel like less than that once you have it on your back. This is most easily done if you set it on a bench top or table top, and then "slip" into the harness.

Has anyone had any experience with using this sprayer for a stain or oil based product for spraying/staining a split rail fence?

use a $20.00 plastic cheaPO 1 gallon pump spray worth it for large deck saves serious time ive done this 5 plus times solvents and stayin etc usually ruin pump in hours make sure finish same day b/c next day pump might be junk

what is the difference bet 190328 and 190348

The 190328 Field King backpack has adjustable padded shoulder straps and durable poly wand; whereas, the 190348 Field King Max backpack has a deluxe padded harness with a full back pad, wide support waist belt and chest cinch strap. will it work for Organic fertilizers? Using Fertilizers that have some tiny solids.

I haven't used it for organic fertilizers but as long as the solids are soluble in water, it should work. If they are not soluble, they will likely clog up the spray head.
