Disappointed!
I thought this would work fine compared to the earlier models but no, it doesn’t work at all! The first IBell dvd player I bought lasted for a very long time. It was good. But subsequent models was a big let down. I bought this one hoping it would be better. Very disappointed. I like this brand and have other products that are good. Just a test before despatch would save us the effort of returning a defective product.

Value for money
The player works as promised. The amplifier section is a boon because my 1984 vintage Technics amplifier has been giving me a lot of hassles. I connected the Castor player to my Bose speaker system and the sound reproduction is top class. Time will tell how the future goes but at the moment I am enjoying my family home made dvds and music CDs. I wonder if the player can be connected to my 3 TB Toshiba HDD loaded with home movies converted from my VHS and Betamax cameras of yore.This is definitely a value for money purchase.

CASTOR CD/DVD Player
In the two days I have used the player, the product appears very good. The stereo sound quality from the CD component via my amplifier is pretty impressive but not so good from the USB component. Perhaps I should try different music before I make my final evaluation.

Quickly replaced
The 1st player was faulty, replaced quickly, so far it's good, audio and video is good, value for money. Easy to use.
