Added this to my 2007 GMC Sierra classic which GM no longer installed in the manufacturing process. Had a cut a hole for the door to work, which I already knew ahead of time. After I got the hole cut the product worked perfect. This would also be a direct replacement part if you truck already came with it.

Worth the money
Anybody looking to add a cabin air filter in your 2004 Chevy Silverado. It's worth every penny just have to cut out the slot for the filter. Chevy supplied the fixation point and slot for the filter door tab. Screw is even supplied

Amazon Said it wasn't for my truck but it is lol worked perfect on 2005 silverado easy to cut hole with heating razor knife with map gas torch and need a 1 piece filter not the 2 piece for the 99 to 2003 silverados you can't line those up 1 piece was still tough lol I kinda rolled it in

Exactly right product for the job
It fit perfectIt was a retrofit for two or three year models of chev Silverado trucks the GM kindly blocked the cabin air filter housing.The product is great.
