A little wobbly despite my best efforts
First of all, this is a beautiful MacBook stand. I have a wood-grain cover on my M1 MBP and the stand looks great with the MacBook.The stand comes with an allen wrench to adjust the width and, in theory, hold the laptop relatively tightly. But the opening isn't straight up and down, so the laptop can be wobbly in the stand, even with the two sides of the stand secured tightly.It's not horrible and not worth returning over, but it might be an issue for you.

Great looking, durable, adjustable waited stand!
It is very nice stand!#1 - It has a think rubber gasket on which your laptop will lay which elevates any possible damage even if you'll drop the laptop in the stand. Plus plenty of soft lining "inside" = no scratches.#2 - Adjustable feature is very useful. If you get a new laptop, you can always adjust the stand to fit it. You can gift the stand to anybody and know it will fit their needs. Pro tip: hold your closed laptop in your lap, put the stand on it so you can see the screws and adjust the size.#3 - It is weighted. So, it will be very hard to knock this thing over. Very stable!#4 - It has plenty of empty space, so cooling is not restricted.#5 - Looks great! :)
