Robot only flashed lights and played sounds.Did mot repeat anything or move.

Even the adults played with this guy for longer than probably acceptable.Easy to program. Very clear recording. Sound is good, not too loud or low. Sizing is small so easy for little ones to carry without a hassle. Lots of fun light coloration.Just about every segment of body is adjustable for imagination play.We are “travelers” usually 5-8 trips a year both domestically and internationally. I can make bets this guy will be in the toy bag!

We purchased this robot for our son for Christmas and it was immediately his favorite toy he received that is until a half-hour later it just stopped working and we had a very upset 3 year old. We ordered a replacement robot and after getting that one it also only lasted as long as the previous one. I contacted the selling explaining what had happened and asking if this were a common issue. The seller responded and said it sounded like a dead battery issue and said we should replacement the batteries. I emailed them back and said it seemed fair to me to get a refund on the toy due to the hassle and the fact we would have to buy batteries for a new toy that should just work. Their response was that they would give us $6 and not the full refund. We purchased new batteries and again it worked for less than a half hour this time and then started making the same noises and eyes flashing. Again our 3 year old was very upset. I do not recommend this toy at all. Yes, it is very cool and seems to be a big hit with kids but what a waist of time and money for something that only lasts such a short time.

If you have a toddler you're probably familiar with "Talking Tom"; this is essentially the same. You push a button on the top of the robot's head to turn it on (it's eyes light up and it makes "robot sounds" when you do). Then it simply repeats everything you say, and anything it picks up in the background, in a higher pitch. The button on its head turns it off again (with more "robot sounds"). That's all there is to it. It leave a lot open for the kids to use imaginative play and was a hit as a birthday present for a 3 year old. My only concern with it was how fragile it seemed. The robot's only about the size of a cell phone, and I'm afraid it won't last long before its broken (this is also a "particular to this situation" concern - the 3 year old in question is a very active boy and has twin brothers a year younger than him - that's a lot of energy in one household).

I ordered two of these and my grandsons loved them but there were issues. The first one quit working in the first few minutes so I processed a replacement. The other one worked for a few days and then also quit, just made a strange beep sound, however my grandson was so upset we decided to try to fix it and finally figured out the problem was in the battery compartment- the batteries were not making a good connection. We placed something behind the metal connectors to tighten the connection and that worked! When I received the replacement it also quit working and just made that strange beep sound so we did the same thing to the battery leads and that fixed this one as well. Great toy- just poorly put together.
