I always thought it was my vacuum machine that was the problem sealing up bags. It was the BAGS the whole time! These bags instantly seal and cooking without toxic plastic is the BEST!! Will be a staple in my home now!!

I bought these bags because I try to use as little non biodegradable plastic as possible. these seemed okay at first but I checked my stash the other day and half of the bags had somehow failed and completely filled with air again. not just a little bit, but completely to the point that I had to discard several pounds of foraged and dehydrated herbs and fungi that I tried to preserve.

my family used quite few vacuum bags for sous vide or storage before because we are truly worry about the pollution caused by plastic bags. But now I don't need to worry about that anymore. I can use this biodegradable vacuum bags to storage my food and cook the delicious sous vide food. Thanks Vesta!

I am disappointed that several bags split at the sides. It created a mess and each time I thought surely this is an anomaly. I can only hope they were beginning to break down. This didn’t stop me from reordering, since I used rolls and other bags without issues. I’ll give them the benefit of doubt and update my review with the next batch.

Works as a vacuum and sous vide bag but tends to break apart...

While I was excited about a bag that would be a less damaging form of waste, these bags have been disappointing every step of the way. Once sealed they have lost their integrity in the freezer almost every time, and one just now failed on two sides as I was filling it.

Seals well and vacuums out air really well. I used these to sous vide some carrots and asparagus. Unfortunately the biodegradable claim is misleading, as any such product has to be processed properly in order for them to biodegrade. Simply throwing it in the trash or in recycling does not mean it will biodegrade.

At the beginning I just wanna give them a try. OMG these bags are over my expectation. They are same quality as food saver vacuum bags. They are nice and thick and hold a seal very well.

Bei Benutzung im Sous Vide Verfahren haben die Vorgefertigten Beutelnähte nicht gehalten. Beim Herausnehmen aus dem Sous Vide Topf am Ende der Garzeit habe ich die Beutel an der Schweißnaht- Seite herausziehen wollen und die zwei fertig gegarten Gänsekeulen sind unten aus dem Beutel heraus geflutscht. Wenn es bei einem passiert wäre, okay, aber gleich alle drei Beutel a zwei Gänsekeulen nach 22 Std. bei 67 Grad...ade Soße ...ade Aroma.

He comprado 2 veces estas bolsas. La primera vez todo perfecto, ninguna queja, pero la segunda vez... Cuando recibí el paquete estaba abierto y conté las bolsas y habian 40 en vez de 50... Lo reclamé y me devolvieron el dinero sin ningun problema, pero y si yo no las hubiera contado?? Pero esto no termina aquí... Cuando fuí a utilizarlas no hacian el vacio, primero pensé que era por culpa de la máquina, la fuí a cambiar, pero más de lo mismo, llegué a cambiar la máquina hasta 4 veces hasta que decidí probar otra bolsa diferente y esa si que funcionaba... Cuando me miré estas bolsas vi que ninguna de las 2 partes era rugosa (cuando yo las bolsas que siempre he utilizado, junto con la primera compra de estas bolsas si que tienen la parte rugosa), así que la segunda vez una experiencia negasta. Suerte que ya me habian devuelto el dinero en la primera incidencia porque tuve que tirar el paquete entero. PD: Las 3 ⭐ es la mediana de la primera compra (5⭐) junto con la segunda y última (1⭐)

Mooi idee, maar helaas....te mooi om waar te zijn. Te kwetsbaar, te dun en te stug, elk kreukje gaat lekken direct al bij het vacumeren. En helaas, het kreukt heel erg snel. Omdat ik zo mijn twijfels had, heb ik er, geheel tegen mijn principe in, een plastic zip lock zak omheen gedaan in het sous vide bad van 74 graden. Nou dat is mijn redding geworden want de ondernaad is in het bad opengegaan. Alle 5 zakjes met saus zijn gaan lekken. Ook is een laag van de zak opgelost en in de saus terecht gekomen. Om ze toch te kunnen gebruiken moet ik er dus een extra plastic vacuum zak omheen doen. Dan is het eigenlijk een volkomen zinloze aanschaf geweest. Ik ga verder zoeken naar steviger zakken.
