There's no secret to getting good at guitar, it's a matter of proper practice. HOWEVER, there are certain pieces of information or concepts that not all teachers are aware of or teach their students. You may pick up on these things over several years of playing, or, you could simply just get this book. They're all here, articulated note groupings, interesting harmonics, how to develop "smart fingers", open tuning variations, and much more. The section on articulated note groupings alone is worth the price of the book. I never really cared for thrash metal but after learning about the modulations, key changes, and how to solo over them successfully using modal and exotic scales I have a new appreciation for it. If you play guitar this book should be required reading, it's simply invaluable.

Came in good condition snd fast with a cd. I bought one like this without a cd and it was badly damaged from another store on here. Thank you for sending a great book and cd. My bf really enjoyed it.
