Great coffee maker!
I decided to buy a new coffee maker and my old one quit working and as soon as it arrived, I started to use it. It works great and the design looks good. I highly recommend this coffee maker if you're budget conscious. It fits on the back table of my chair in my room and isn't in the way of anything. The brewing is relatively quiet and the drip was good.

Good value, but with some cheap components
Decent value for the money, but you can tell where they have cut corners to keep the price down. Note that the brewing basket is all plastic (on the left) compared to the metal mesh version from Mr. Coffee (on the right). If you're concerned about microplastics, the included plastic mesh basket could be an issue. Not only is it cheap, but the plastic mesh filter is as likely as the plastic mesh tea bags to shed microplastics into your coffee. I had just broken the glass pitcher on my Mr. Coffee, and it just happened to be a perfect fit for the new Amazon branded version. The electric cord is another obviously cheap part. The cable is stiff, which is a reflection of the braiding and size of the copper strands that make up the cord. The finer and thinner gauge the strands, the more supple the cable. The one on the Amazon coffee maker are very stiff, indicating that they've used a cheaper grade of cable. On the positive side, the coffee maker works fine. The brewing element shuts off after the water has been transferred to the brewing basket, so only the pot heater remains on. I also like that this coffee maker has a slim profile, so it takes up a minimum amount of valuable counter space.I'm happy with the purchase, but glad I had a different basket that would work. Now, we'll see how long it lasts.

Good coffee; good value
Okay, a five star basic coffee pot. Really? Yes. I recently retired and wanted just a regular coffee brewer aside from my Keurig. Pods get expensive when you are consuming several cups a day. This caught my eye for it's cost and good reviews. It is REALLY small, but makes a good cup of coffee. Better than the pods. I am no barista, but my coffee tastes good. It's a good little pot.

Grind your beans, fill the reservoir, push ONE button and sit back and wait!
For a coffeeaholic like myself, this is one sweet coffemaker! No complicated interface, no confusing operational interfaces, just a solidly built coffemaker ready to brew anytime you're ready! How simple that is: Fill the reservoir with your preffered amount of water, particularly filtered if you have it. Now fill the coffee filter with beans, (12 cups=6 Scoops), place it in the coffeemaker and push the blue button on the right sideand just kick back and wait...It's as easy as that! If you grind your beans as I do, the scoop provided is a little to small, you'll need something a wee tad bigger! Other than that, you're all in for some great coffee! ENJOY!

Didn't cut the mustard
After 8 months of use, it's time to give up. I use it on weekends. At first, I was disappointed that it didn't have an automatic shutoff but figured that was my bad for failing to check that in the product description. Regardless of using reusable or paper coffee filters, I kept getting grounds in my coffee. I finally gave up after repeatedly trying to get the coffee maker clean, running it through multiple brew cycles without coffee over the course of several days and still ending up with coffee grounds showing up from who knows where. Or maybe mineral build up.While initially it seems like a bargain because of the price, it just didn't make it. Kitchen appliances should last longer than 8 months.

Coffee pot made with super thin glass
Excellent coffee maker - simple and reasonably priced. However, the glass pot is super thin and broke when slightly tapped up against the sink while rinsing. We are not seeing a glass pot replacement only, so looking at buying a whole new coffee maker maker.
