This is a really neato kit of screws and nuts and rubber washers. The star heads are great. Love em on everything. The rubber is to lock the nuts and prevent rattling noises. People ask why I use lock washers with locknuts on cars. You need the spring washer to keep it tight even if dimensions change because of heat, cold, age etc. You need the locknut so the nut doesn't vibrate loose and fall where you can't reach it. But this has specific screws for license plates and the plastic square things fit where the plastic breaks where clipnuts went. It's better in many cases to put the clip but back, but how? You can put the flange nuts through the plastic squares, JB Weld (a common epoxy) these parts together and use the screws provided, or, you can break one tab off the square plastic things and then clip your clip nut on that side, epoxy if required and use the original screw. Nobody even knows it broke. All it took was one plastic deal. You can get those separately for a few bucks. But this kit has enough other stuff to meet the unexpected. When fixing cars there's always the unexpected. Plus you don't have to use them in cars. They look good. I'd make the heads smaller if it were me. often clearances are tight.

Being a total Gearhead to me a lot is said for quality and detail. This kit has everything to do the job right and the quality stands for itself...

I bought my car from the worst dealership in the history of dealerships. Worst buying experience I have ever had and I noticed many things wrong with the car at delivery. Imagine my surprise when I go to put on my license plate frames and I find that the screws put on at the dealership were a hodge podge, random selection of ill-fitting screws. This kit had plenty of the proper screws for both my front and rear plates. It's nothing fancy but there are al the right parts here and that's the important thing.

had enough parts to mount two plates on a late model RAV4 plus any leftovers. includes coarse thread and corresponding plastic blocks, as well as fine thread screws which I used in conjunction with the fat rubber grommet/washers to reduce that vibration/buzzing thing that plates often do. seems to be well-made. the odd metal threaded cylinders with the grommets cast around their edge are useful for the lower plate holes to snug the plate against the frame...instead of a sharp threaded bolt sticking out behind the frame, the threads are protected. at least I THINK that's what they are for. no instructions included. I would recommend the use of a drop of threadlocker/LocTite to keep the screws from shaking loose.comes with L shaped key that fits the screw heads, don't lose it! (where to keep it?? maybe put it in the glove box?? if you put it in the tool box you will NEVER remember it's there...just sayin'.)

I have a plastic box full of various bits and screws bought over the years to attach license plates to a vehicle. NONE of them work anywhere as well as this set. I first bought a set from a local auto parts store. It was exactly what I needed to fit my Suzuki X-90. So I bought more sets. This is my second order from Amazon now - I've just ordered another set just in case they stop making them - I currently have 4 vehicles from 4 different manufacturers these sets had exactly what I need for each configuration/setup. It is true that you'll have some parts left over, but the value is worth it to me - whatever is left over might fit the next vehicle.The kit looks great on the vehicle and the added bonus - the star screw used to attach the plates makes it less likely someone will steal the plates off your vehicle - a friend of the family just had that happen and in a small town with no crime - this set will encourage plate thieves to find an easier target.

This kit is OK... it would be amazing if it came with enough hardware to be useful... The problem is they only give you a little bit of each kind of hardware, so quantity wise you have enough to do 2 cars, but not if you need all of them to be one type of hardware. I had to get creative to make it work... but then I realized that I only really needed one security screw per plate and then I realized that if someone wants the plate bad enough that they would either just use pliers to turn the screws (wouldn't be hard... just a little more time consuming) or they'd tear it off with a pry bar (screwing up my bumper). The only people these screws will stop are the would-be thieves... so really if someone wants your plate they're going to take it anyway.The quality of the hardware seems to be good to go, and I like the security bolt pattern because I have bits that fit it (it's a T25 security bit) which makes it easier to install.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well these worked considering some of the negative reviews here. I didn't have any of the thread problems with the bolts as some reviewers did.PROS=======- The screws are stainless steel, so they won't be rusty if you need to remove the license plate in the future- Wide range of screws to increase the chances of them working with the license plate holes in your car.- My car has pre-drilled, pre-threaded screws on one end and has dealer drilled holes on the other end. These screws worked with both types of holes.- The bolts have a nib in its center which prevents screwdrivers from sinking in deep enough to turn the screws- I was also pleasantly surprised that these work with my BumpShox license plate frameCONS======- The special tool can only turn the screws on one end. The other end of the tool cannot connect (unlike a standard allen wrench). This means it may be a bit difficult to get the leverage you want when tightening the screws. An annoying issue but not critical.NOTES=========- If you use 4 screws to secure your license plate, you'll need 2 sets of this. Maybe buy 1 set first to try? (It will be difficult to return since the plastic packaging requires you to cut it open). The only way you'll be able to get away with only buying 1 set is if you only use 2 screws per license plate or if your license plates are already connected with different sized screws.- Don't lose the special tool!

Compre estos tornillos para ajustar la placa de mi moto y le quedaron perfecto, los tornillos son de buena calidad y hasta el momento no se han aflojado, es una buena opción por si tienes más de un vehículo para que valga la pena la compra.
