Review: Decent - I feel a little dumb for all of the $250 to $450 C-Mount lenses I bought. This one is probably as good as a $300 Edmund Optics lens. Only downside is they don't have many choices of other focal lengths.

This lens is easy to focus and makes for a good security camera lens for medium distances like small yards, or large rooms where the camera is going to be mounted high or a little bit away from the subject area.

I adapted this onto a camera for use as a cine lens... And it is awesome! Chromatic aberration at f1.4 but come on... if you are on a big crop in video shooting on a digital sensor, the cost benefit ratio is very much in your favor regardless. Just make sure your copy doesn’t lose its focus position when turned up and down, it’s been known to happen from loose connections. But the manufacturer showed concern and was quite helpful in this regard.
