Schefs Premium Silicone Spatula Turner - includes Stainless Steel Handle and Comfort Grip My husband had accidentally broke one of our spatulas that we used mainly for frying eggs or making pancakes. He asked me to order another one online as I honestly went to another site I shop at looking for one in red to match our kitchen made of Apple decor. I was looking for one in the same color as the other utensils red or red/black. While looking on a couple of sites I didn't find anything in the color or what I was actually wanting. I shop a lot on Amazon and if its to be found this is the place. I placed my order on 11/6 and it arrived very quickly. I saw a question asking if this item would work using an iron cast skillet, I would say no as Iron cast needs one that is made of metal (they are made to stick) nothing better than fired potatoes slightly sticking while browning in a cast Iron skillet! You can use this one however its made and designed for a non stick pan and well worth the money!I had taken the box in my kitchen to open it my husband was leaned back in his recliner half asleep from a long day at work. After I pulled the Spatula/Turner out from the nicely film cover and box I was speechless! Nothing like I was expecting, the Spatula was much more than I expected for not seeing it in person and ordering online. It had the shade of red I was looking for, nice soft yet firm bottom blade (flipper I call it) with even drainage that won't hold extra grease, a nice thick silicone base on the top and the bottom, soft bendable edge yet very durable on the end of the flipper you'd normally use to scrap with. Very durable, well made shank, soft handle for a firm grip with about an inch or less bendable tip at the end of the handle which I find very nice instead of a hard slick handle. Most of all I bought a glass top electric cook stove right at six months ago that suggested certain types of pans for this type of glass top range which wasn't cheap. Then a set of utensils suggested for non stick pans. This Spatula by far is much better than the high end brands and it matches pretty close to the set I have. Purchasing this item online from this seller was one of the best purchases I've made online, very serious! I have even looked at their website here on Amazon to see if I could order all the matching utensils to go with the Spatula by clicking on the sellers name, they don't sell any of the others or I'd buy them without a second thought. I can't say nothing bad about it and I see it lasting for a long time. Very easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The hole made at the top is shaped like a heart easy to hang. The material and style its made of is just amazing! I assure you its non stick and won't melt within using at a reasonable heat setting. I don't suggest leaving any Spatula or cooking utensils in any pan while cooking. Easy glide under fried eggs for over easy without breaking the yoke.I highly recommend the Spatula to anyone who needs or looking for a nice one that is dependable, nice quality over any brand or non brand I've ever used.Side note to the seller- Please read the Schefs nice Intro card that came with this beauty. You may want to contact whomever is printing the card/tag. The tag reads " We want to you to get" instead of reading "We want you to get" thought I'd point the small mistake out where you can contact whomever may be printing your tags. The longer I use it, the better I like it. In general, I a not a fan of the silicone kitchen items, but sometimes you just need something like this. It IS really well balanced, fits in my hand well, good length and really sturdy. Very comfortable cushioned grip. Nice angle at working end.

I read tons of reviews for various silicon spatulas before purchasing this one, and I feel it paid off. This spatula is very well made, and I believe it is well worth every penny of it's price. The stainless steel is thick enough to be very sturdy and extends from just below the hanging hole to just slightly short of the blade. The blade is thin enough to slip easily under anything I've used it with so far (fried eggs, meat, potatoes, stir-fry, etc.), with no problem. I have also used it to scrape cooked bits from the bottom of my pans (although I probably should have used my wooden spatula for that), and the spatula is sturdy enough to lift anything I've tried to lift with it so far (pork chops, steak, pancakes, etc.). I will have to wait and see how long it holds up under constant usage, but if it holds up as well as other reviewers have stated, I will certainly purchase it again if/when this one does finally wear out. This spatula was well priced, and I definitely recommend it.

While the silicone parts appear to be well made, the metal parts bend very easily. For me, this limits the usefulness of the spatula. I can really only use this to turn an item. I can't use it to make burger since attempting to press on the burger causes bending of the base. I can't use it to cook and break-up frozen ground meats since the tip of the spatula is very soft.This spatula may work for you and your needs, it just doesn't work for me or mine... I ended up purchasing another different spatula that works for all of my cooking needs.

I needed some new spatulas and came across these while searching for spatulas on Amazon's site. Not knowing if they'd be any good or not I took a chance and only bought 2 to try them out. Let me tell you, I will be back to buy more. They are awesome. My old spatulas couldn't handle cooking in hot oil without the tips of the spatulas melting. These have done superb. It's easy to turn over pancakes too! They don't scratch the bottom of my pans in any way. They wash well too. I'm very impressed and will be back to buy more very soon. This is the only spatula I reach for now! I recommended it to family and friends. Great service and friendly emails from seller too. Thank you!

I do not like this spatula. Both ends, the tip of the handle and the scraper end are WAY too soft and wobbly! I do NOT recommend this product!

I have owns this spatula for 1 year. 1st the Pros - long comfortable handle, easy to clean, picks up eggs over easy out of the cast iron pan. Cons - left the spatula too long touching the hot cast iron pan melted the plastic down to the steel.

The reason I bought this spatula is that I was looking for one that the food does not stick to. I eat a lot of scrambled eggs, and I always have to use a scrub pad to get the residue off the spatula. Not any more. Just a couple of swipes with the wash sponge is all it takes. Also this is a very well constructed device using top notch materials. I think it will be around a long time.
