Works good considering the price..
Recently purchased a 2011 Kia Soul for my daughter, and the 1 key fob that came with the car had seen better days. The buttons on the front were cracking and looked like they could stop working at any moment.Found this replacement fob for a cheap price and it had good reviews, so I went for it.Appearance wise it is almost exactly identical. The only discernable difference is there's a tiny screw in the back of the new fob which hides behind the provided KIA sticker, but since it's hidden you won't even notice once you are done with the swap. The material is noticeably cheaper plastic, but nothing too outrageous, especially for the price.Taking apart the old OEM fob was a pain in the neck, you essentially have to crack it open to get inside. Once it was opened and it's insides were removed, installing them into the new fob wasn't hard.Once in the new fob however, this is where you notice some slight differences in fit and finish. The chip was essentially a tiny bit loose and had a little "play" when you shake the fob. I fixed this with a tiny strategically placed piece of foam tape. This provided a little pressure to keep things in place. With everything back together, you can still feel a little play in the key itself when it's extended. I could see this maybe causing an issue. Wear from the leverage of repeatedly starting the car could eventually make the fob start to crack over time, but for now it starts and works fine..so we will have to wait and see.Overall for the price I paid, it's unfair to expect more than what I got. It works, looks pretty much identical to OEM and was easy enough to switch..end of story.

All I really needed was the rubber button pad
The rubber pad over the buttons of my old key fob was falling apart. I bought this case to swap the old electronics into, then I discovered the rubber pad on both the old and new case were just pressed into grooves in the front. So I peeled the pad off of the old case and pressed the pad from the new one into it. It fits perfectly and is as good as new. No need to deal with tiny screws, stickers, cutting keys, etc.I was willing to pay quite a bit more for just the rubber pad, so to me this deal was a steal.

Key fob
Not sure if all fobs are made in a central location (China), but this one is just ok. I just have to remember to treat it gingerly because my last one only lasted 2 months. An inexpensive alternative to the dealership price, but you still have to program it, and that’s where the expense varies.Good Luck!!

Great fidget for sensory kids
We bought this as a toy fidget for our sensory seeker during Mass. What a great choice! He can push the buttons and flick the key open and closed without setting off the car alarm. He loves it more than the expensive fidgets we bought.

Check online
Check online for instructions. Surgical gloves were a help, for me, to secure the (original) spring and key assembly. A small touch of glue (Loctite) was helpful to secure the board before final assembly. Worth it.
