Pros: LOVE the shading feature. Each pen essentially equals about 10 different shades, maybe more. This means that a set of five pens will go a really long way. I've finished entire coloring books with just 10 markers.You can refill ink and colorless toner, but it will be a while before you have to do this. I've used my pens for over a year and have only had to refill a couple of my favorite pens.BIG Con: Sometimes the pens don't work exactly as they should. The most consistent problem I've encountered is the mixing chamber is not functional. For my black, blue, and blue violet pens, this happened after a few weeks (And yes, I tried refilling the mixing chamber with new toner, following the directions exactly as they were outlined on Chameleon's YouTube tutorial). For my gray pen, it was not functional even though new out of the box... :(BIG plus: Chameleon was on the ball with customer service. When my blue and black pen stopped working, I tried to fix it by refilling the colorless toner in the mixing chamber to no avail. Then I stopped coloring for about six months. I decided to give it another whirl, purchasing the Cool Tones set. The blue violet pen stopped working within a couple of weeks. I got really annoyed, and I contacted customer service to describe my problem with the blue, black, and blue violet pens (Chameleon, not Amazon., They sent me replacements for both my cool tones set and primary tomes set (even though it had been almost a year since I had purchased my primary set). AMAZING. The were in my mailbox within a couple of days.The gray pen from the pastel set did not work out of the box, but I didn't contact customer service because I'm lazy and don't care a whole lot about gray. That said, based on past experiences, I think if I sent an email Chameleon today telling them that the gray pen did not work out of the box, they would replace the pen ASAP (even though I bought the set months ago).It's hard to get frustrated with a company that has such excellent customer service.

I am a prismcolor/copic baby so using this is a little different since they are so long but being able to buy refills that I can just connect, being able to blend and having a different feel is what makes these purchases great.

My wife loves these pens. She has a couple of different Chameleon groups of pens and raves about them. I will buy her more any time she wants them.

These markers blend so smoothly and so much fun to color with. I recommend them for beginners and advanced artists alike.

First time using these pens. Learning more everyday that I use them. I would recommend the product to any art enthusiast.

Excellent condition upon arrival. Important for gift giving.

These are great. There is a learning curve to them,, but out cell you figure it out the pens are wonderful.

Wife loves them. They take some practive but then the effect is outstanding!
