Inexpensive and Impressive
I wasnt expecting too much from a set of tools that cost $6 so when I received this and opened it, I was seriously impressed! The tools are the perfect size (picture of tools laid out next to dollar bill so can picture actual size of set) , made of sturdy materials and come with all the pieces to make working with succulents easier. Before I bought this set, I had asked the community a question, on this products Amazon listing, if this set was good enough or if I should go with a more expensive set that had more tools (for transplanting, propagation and planting use). Every answer was this set was sufficient. They were right and I am glad I went with this set. All the tools work well and handle their jobs without any problems. The tweezers do double duty with this and aquarium plant placement too. They haven't rusted from being in aquarium water either. Definitely recommend for basic level planting, transplanting etc. These fit in the hand well, are comfortable to work with and when finished it's easy to clean them up and they are small enough to store anywhere.

Great price for items received
These are perfect for what I needed them for! The tweezers are blunt tipped and didn't close together perfectly, so I just bent them the tiniest bit and they close much better now. The water bottle is so convenient to water tiny pots and the brush helps keep soil out from between the leaves. This little tool set is very inexpensive and great for taking care of my little succulent plants!

Ginsco Miniature Gardening set is useful and priced right
The Ginsco 7 piece miniature garden set has just what you need to plant and maintain dish gardens. Some have complained about the quality, but for what most people will be using for, considering the fact that it is under $10, I think it's fine. If you are a professional gardener, or a serious bonsai enthusiast, you would need a different type of set. The tools, although they are made in China, seem durable enough. I have only used the brush so far and while I was worried that it might be too stiff, after running my thumb back and forth over the bristles several times to soften them, found they were perfect to brush dirt off of African violets. I look forward to using the rest of the set soon. Depending on how long they hold up, I may update this review in the future to add another star.

Great Tools for a Great Price
I wanted to get a squirt bottle. The cheapest one I could find here on Amazon was $5.99. For two dollars more, I thought if nothing else I would get two tweezers out of the deal.Let me just say, the tools are cheap. There's no frills. The plastic mold lines are prominent. The brush should never be used to paint anything.BUT, it's exactly perfect for dealing with small plants. The tweezers, while quite cheap-looking work quite well. My ultimate tweezer test is to see if it can grasp and pull out a hair. Both of them passed. If they can close that securely, obviously, they'll be fine for plant-tending. The smaller scoop is perfect for adding extra dirt around the base of plants or applying fertilizer. The larger scoop is sadly the most plastic looking component but it too is the perfect shape and size for dealing with small amounts of soil or moving small plants around. You could buy a more expensive and decorative set or simply buy this set that will meet all of your needs. Save your money to buy more plants! Will be recommending this product to others.

Every item is useful, price is great.
I recently took up succulent propagation and terrarium-making, and needed a "tool kit." I considered the bigger kits that have the miniature rake, spade, scissors, spray bottle etc., but I'm glad I ultimately got this one. The 250 ml bottle that comes with this kit is superior to a spray bottle, because you can water the roots of small succulents directly and efficiently without getting water droplets on your terrarium glass. The green and brown plastic tools are perfect for putting small holes in the dirt, pulling lightly-rooted succulents up to replant elsewhere, and shoveling small amounts of soil or sand with precision. Having two types of tweezers is useful for working at different angles. I use the tweezers with an angled, blunt tip for moving succulents, and the other tweezers for moving or grabbing small items like rocks. The brush that came with my kit is nicer than I expected -- no problems with glue on the bristles (as one reviewer experienced), and the bristles are soft and dense. My perfect succulent terrarium kit is this set, supplemented with (a) small scissors (like cuticle or hair scissors), and (b) an air blower bulb for dusting (I use a camera lens cleaner that cost me $4). If you have a lot of succulents, you might also want a bigger waterer. But for the price, this set is a fantastic start.

Really nice, small-sized garden tool set
I had this great idea that maybe if I tried planting little succulent plants that I'd have better luck than in the past with other plants. These tools were really nice for getting the starter plants into the cute little pots I bought. The brush was great for dusting the dirt off the leaves and edge of the pots. Really nice tools. I probably shouldn't have left them outside next to the cute little succulents in the pots because recently I went out on the porch and discovered that evidently the squirrels had done some gardening of their own -- literally dug up a couple of the succulents in the pot, and chewed up a few of the others. I don't know for sure whether they used my mini tools though. :)

Great products for the price
These are the handiest little tools for potting succulents, or any small plants. As others have mentioned, the watering bottle is ideal to be able to get the water where you want it and not on the plant itself. I haven't used the tweezers because I am not potting cacti, but have used all the other pieces. They are just perfect for getting small amounts of dirt where you need it. There are bigger sets out there, but for me, this works perfectly and the price was certainly right. The only thing lacking is a pair of scissors, but it's not like I don't have scissors. All in all, a great little set - especially for the price!

Awesome starter kit!
Bought this to use on succulents! Awesome starter kit if you’re just starting to propagate succulents. Like the colours and two different types of tweezers. Only wish shipping wasn’t so long.

Perfect starter kit!
Perfect assortment of tools for smaller houseplants and their maintenance. They are not the highest quality tools but they are very affordable and they will work just fine. Every tool is useful. I highly recommend this starter kit.
