Perfect for Precise Cookie Decorating!
The media could not be loaded. As someone who runs a small cookie business, I’m always on the lookout for high-quality tools to make my creations stand out. These black edible markers are a game-changer! The double-sided design is genius— I love having the flexibility of the ultra-fine 0.5mm tip for precise details and the thicker side for broader strokes. The ink flows smoothly, and the color is rich and vibrant, even on slightly textured royal icing. What sets these markers apart is their food-safe quality and reliability. I’ve used them on frosting and directly on the cookies, and they’ve never let me down. Whether I’m writing messages, drawing intricate designs, or adding final details to characters, these markers handle it all beautifully.Highly recommend for any baker or cookie artist looking for a versatile and reliable edible pen. Definitely adding these to my must-have decorating supplies!

My favorite pen
I love this product! It’s dried super quick and the quality was top tier! It’s super easy to use - I love that there is a thick and thin side! It doesn’t have a taste which was good for the event.

Double sided
I like that these are two sided. One side is for extra fine and the other side is a little thicker.

Works for macarons!
It worked for my macarons! I was surprised I preferred the wider tip over the fine point but it was exactly what I needed.I didn’t use too much or taste it so I can’t speak of the taste. I only used 1 pen of the pack but it wasn’t dried out. When writing, it did dry quickly so no smudges. With both points I think the writing ability from anything like art to words would work.

Super pigmented & great for finer details
Love being able to create finer details or writing on my sugar cookies! I usually use these on royal icing. My go to because the black is super pigmented as well!

Meh
I couldn't use 2 of the pens bc the tip came off. Fine up would stop working then sometimes work. Just meh. Big tip for for coloring only.

Weak Color, Uneven Color Distribution, Bleeding
Don't be hopeful because some of the reviews and pictures seem ok. These pens bring nothing but regret.1. The pens have two tips. One is thicker and one is a fine point, as shown. The fine point is comparable in size to a Pigma Micron 05. The thicker end is similar to a Tombow, but it doesn't write as nicely. Because we can't use our Microns and Tombows on food, I gave these a try.2. These pens write in grey ink. The color is a true grey, without leaning blue or green, but it is not black. After three coats, it's passably dark, but after three coats, the ink starts to eat away at the icing a bit. (Tested on rock hard, days old royal icing, by the way, not a cookie I filled six hours ago.)3. The color is not distributed evenly. It is distributed in a weak line that leaves behind a bubble of ink when you lift the pen. Unless you correct for this defect, every line becomes a line with a dot on the end.4. The color bleeds. Not a ton, but enough that you will never see crisp, sharp lines, and isn't that why you were looking for a fine tip edible marker in the first place? For the moment, I'm back to my paint brush and petal dust for fine lines. I'll probably throw these in the kids' marker box for art projects. They'll enjoy having two different tips on one marker.
