After watching a video where a man tests this kit on a ps4pro with a heat sensor on the exit port and the CPU and was instantly SOLD. I have poor ventilation for my console so this has been a dream come true. Installation is easy and I can say from testing it myself that even after HOURS of use there is no change to the standard operating temperature of this system. Any reviews that state how hot the console becomes DID NOT research the standard operating temperature of the system which is 170°f.

Does the job but can create heating problems in my experience. The Pro doesn't have "amazing" airflow and despite this being as well made as possible, it just is still too restricting. It would work much better if your PS4 is in an unconfined space. If you, like most people, have your PS4 in docks that restrict air flow as it is, I do not recommend this.

I found these on a whim while looking up ways to cut back on ps4 pro dust buildup, since I'd like to preserve my aging console as much as possible. Everything fits well, although the rubber usb caps took some effort to make them work. I played rdr2 for a few hours to test how well the console ran with the protective vent sponges, and I had no heating issues whatsoever. But I should say that my ps4 sits freely on top of a stand directly over an air conditioning vent, so I'm not sure how well it would work if your console is in a closed space.

Easy to install. This set would be particularly ideal if you put your PS4 Pro into storage for a while (perhaps during a move, for example), since ithe kit comes with rubber inserts to fill ports like power and HDMI, which, if you're using the console, you would not employ. Set comes with a second set of foam dust inserts to replace later on; if you leave these inserts in and they become too dusty, your console is likely going to run hotter than would be ideal.

I like this dust proof kit. All the pieces fit well and are sturdy.That being said, the PS4 Pro is designed to run with a steady flow of air. The foam vent covers are a concern for me, and i likely will not use them.The rubber plugs are another story. They are solid and using them will not restrict airflow through the system. Any port that is open I would definitely suggest using these.As far as the foam vents, I’ll hang on to them for the time being but my plan is to do regular maintenance to remove what little dust the system requires periodically
